Step into quiet mountain luxury at Mama Bear Cabin! Centrally located to all that the High Country has to offer, our home is the perfect home base for all your mountain adventures!

Our entry area game room has a Smart TV, chessboard table, and a cute little bar area! Snuggle up on the couch or one of our oversized beanbag chairs and put on your favorite movie!

Need to stash jackets and ski gear? No problem! We have large cubbies in the entry room as well, with plenty of space for all of your things.

Our home features 4 bedrooms (two king and two queen beds). All bedrooms have their own smart TVs, the king bedrooms each have an ensuite bath (shower only), and our primary bedroom also has a gas fireplace. The two queen bedrooms share an additional bathroom (shower only). A hair dryer is available in each bathroom.

Enjoy watching your favorite shows and movies from bed on our Smart TVs in each bedroom... feel free to log in to any of the apps you enjoy at home! (guests must provide their own login info for apps).

You'll have plenty of personal space even while traveling with friends or family. Fluffy towels and cozy bed linens are provided!

We also have a full-size washer and dryer on the lower level of the home if you need to get some laundry done or dry out that wet ski gear! An iron and ironing board are located in the landry area.

The upstairs portion of the home is where the gathering happens. Our fully stocked kitchen has all that you'll need to cook delicious meals! We supply all dishware, glassware, utensils, and plenty of cookware as well. We offer coffee makers for both drip and k-cup coffee. Wine glasses, a microwave, a full-sized gas oven and range, a crock pot, air fryer, and a blender are all available for you to use.

Cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace in our open-concept living space without feeling cut off from what's happening in the kitchen or outside on the deck! Our massive sectional is the perfect spot to lounge, hang out, or even sneak in a mid-vacay nap! A large Smart TV over the fireplace is visible from all areas of the room, including the dining table that can comfortably seat everyone in your group.

An additional full bathroom (shower only) is located on this level as well.

Open up the doors to the upper deck and take in the amazing, 180 degree, long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Morning sunrises and afternoon sunsets are both clearly visible!

Just outside on the lower deck, you'll find the hot tub, a large seating area, foosball table, and another large Smart TV! Perfect for a soak after a long day of hiking or skiing. A firepit area is also located off the lower level for making s'mores!

What does this mean for you?

In colder / snowy seasons: you WILL need snow tires or chains, and an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle. During the winter season the driveway to this home is not accessible without 4-wheel drive. We do not issue refunds due to inability to access the home without the proper vehicle.

The weather on Beech can change in an instant, and we may not be able to accommodate adding extra days to your stay in inclement weather. Please ensure your vehicle is equipped properly for mountain driving in the snow.

In warmer seasons: please watch carefully for wildlife. We have foxes, deer, and even bears on Beech! Do not leave any food or trash outside the home. Do not leave food in your vehicles. Please drive carefully as we frequently see newborn deer crossing the roads in late spring / early summer.

*** Please remember that we do get snow, rain, fog, and other occasional inconveniences that are out of our control here in the mountains. Winter weather can occur here from November through April. This property is accessed and maintained via a paved road and a gravel parking area which may be icy or snowy during winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means four-wheel drive, good tires, and possibly snow chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for potentially hazardous road conditions. There will be no refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from weather conditions out of our control. ***
