The location was close to both Banner Elk and Beech Mountain, which was great. The neighborhood had a windy, dark road that was a bit difficult for some to navigate in the rain, especially the first time they were looking for the house. The kitchen is spacious, and the bathrooms were all good sizes, though none of them had any hand soap. The master bedroom on the main floor has another bedroom directly above it on the next floor, and when someone walks above you will certainly hear it unless you are a deep sleeper. The view is pretty, and the living room fireplace was great to use, especially since it has a timer so you don't worry about forgetting to turn it off. The downstairs area was a good place for one of our party to work remotely, and we enjoyed the game table downstairs, too.
