Great place to stay if you want to explore the Sleeping Bear area. Only a short drive to Interlochen and wineries too. We also enjoyed watching all the hummingbirds in the flower garden.

This was the perfect first floor apartment for our stay! We had complete privacy in a very well maintained and clean bedroom, family room, and bathroom. Even the sitting area outside was delightful! This house was convenient to so many cute towns, great hikes, wineries, breweries, and beaches. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again!

Beautiful stay in Honor

Lisa and Mark are excellent hosts! The apartment is sparkling clean, well-appointed with everything you might need, and the location is just beautiful! I wish there were more stars to give because this is a gem nestled in the Sleeping Bear countryside!

We really enjoyed this sweet spot. Lisa and Mark were very welcoming and kind. Their property is amazing. The attention to detail is outstanding. Very clean and newly remolded Mother-in-law lower level apartment. Noise from the upper level was non-existent. The bath towels were awesome with well stocked toiletries. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with plenty of pillow and blanket options. What I really appreciated was the closet hangers! A woman needs hangers!! I can’t tell you how many times I have stayed in rentals without closet space and hangers so my heart sang when I opened this large closet with QVC quality hangers. Also, she had a good dresser with deep drawers. I like to unpack and relax. So many rental do not provide a dresser and if that has happened.. no luggage rack. So this is the attention to detail that I really appreciated. The property itself is amazing. Lisa is a flower gardener and her vast garden is a sight to behold!We traveled for a weekend reunion with old friends so we didn’t spend much time on the property, but Mark pointed out a walking trail on the property for us to enjoy. They also offered the fire pit and wonderful lounge chairs to us to use (maybe next time).Many times you may never talk directly to a property owner other than text. This couple was friendly, interesting and engaging. My husband Tom talked to Mark for a bit as guys do in the garage and Tom came away with a lot of respect for Mark and is organized manner. Great Stay!

Just beautiful!

We only wish we had more time to spend at this property! The grounds are beautiful and the apartment is well appointed. Of course, the surrounding area has so much beauty, too. This may be our favorite VRBO.

Lisa is a terrific hostess. The apartment warm and inviting in a peaceful setting. It has it all. Comfortable furniture, great mattress, blankets, towels etc. Anyone can see she takes great pride in offering a wonderful up north experience. We'll be back!

Very secluded beautiful property, prime location as home base to explore Sleeping Dunes. Lisa and Mark were wonderful, super nice with lots of information about the area. Very quiet and restful.,hope to return in future.

Incredibly clean, peaceful, and beautiful. A short drive to the dunes, beach, and great restaurants. Hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Getaway Retreat

Everything you would want in a relaxing, peaceful setting. Beautiful flower garden, expansive view. Stars, listening to the loons. Clean and comfortable. Lisa and Mark are great hosts, making you feel at home and there to help with suggestions, if you need them. Thank you!

Hidden Gem Near Sleeping Bear Dunes

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat this VRBO is the perfect place! Mark and Lisa are incredibly kind and informative. We easily explored Empire, Glen Arbor, Leland, and Frankfort. Put simply, it is a great place to stay with awesome hosts.
