This relaxing home is the perfect choice for your next Oregon Coast getaway. This open and bright house boasts gorgeous wood trim throughout, lending a comforting and relaxing atmosphere. The wood stove in the main living area adds comfort, and guests can entertain themselves with the included telescope or full-size piano.



What's nearby:

Oceanside is a short walk from the house, where guests will find eating options along with access to the beach (just under one mile away). Check out the beach at Happy Camp (three miles from the home), where guests can do a bit of crabbing right from the shore. Tillamook is 10 miles to the east, where guests will find major shopping, necessities, and more.

Host was welcoming - in fact, they thoughtfully left us a roasting pan since it was Thanksgiving. A wonderful house with amazing views.

The view is beautiful. Truly. It has a cabin-beach feel. Sorta. The house is in desperate need of a make over. It failed to meet my expectations for the price. The appliances are dated. There is no dishwasher. There is a nice little message asking me to wash dishes. Vacation isn’t washing dishes to me—-or most people. The back deck on the main floor is scary. There was an inspection recently, but it doesn’t feel stable. The handle on the right needs tightening. There is a guest book on the main table. All my concerns/compaints are written by several guests. You should read this book. The house was dusty. Dead bugs in all the corners. Upon entering there is a sign to remove your shoes. This is not safe. Those wooden stairs are extremely slippery with socks. The slip treads on the stairs need to be replaced. First night I fell down the stairs. The beds need to be replaced. The mattresses and the frames. The showers need to be updated. Also. At 1243 am the washing machine started on its own. Electric glitches happen. This is an older washing machine and there is no way this could have started on its own. It was terrifying. To the owners- it’s time to do some serious updating and investing into your property. The cleaning crew is subpar and I think it’s time to invest in a pressure washer company to hit up the outside of the house.

Cozy and roomy stay

This cozy cabin had lots of places to gather for talking, games, reading, or watching a movie. The windows look out on the beautiful scenery of ocean and woods! There are lots of stairs. Oceanside is full of vacation homes and only has a couple restaurants, so be sure to grab anything you might need ahead of time(things like snacks, firewood, toiletries, etc )

A couple of glitches but mostly great.

2 things were problematic. First, I couldn’t get the door code to work. Fortunately, I’d kept the phone # for help handy, and whomever I called helped me get in the place. Secondly, the DVR and tv weren’t functioning well. However, the management company sent out a helpful young man, and the cable company was also summoned. This would not have been a big deal, but it rained hard during a couple of days, which crimped outdoor activities. But the view from the house is beautiful and there are several porches to enjoy it from, a couple of which are covered and dry. The house is great. Beautiful and spacious. Almost anyone would enjoy their time there. We brought 2 dogs, who also enjoyed their stay.

not clean and not well maintained

The house was not cleaned well enough (although we paid 137 USD for cleaning): the floor, several horizontal surfaces and the windows in the living room had not been cleaned well and there was a lot of dust on the stairs and other horizontal surfaces and one cooking pan was dirty. Two of the four chairs on the deck are broken, and pose a risk when someone would try to sit on them. The description of the house boasts a piano and a telescope, but the piano is not tuned and not really playable and the telescope does not work properly There are only 2 wineglasses, no toaster in the kitchen and only 4 clotheshangers in the entire house. This could be a very nice house, but it definitely deserves a thorough cleaning and repairs and updates!

Family weekend/celebration of life

Everything was to our liking. Weather was sunny to thunder and lightening. Was an enjoyable time to be with family. There was 4 rentals among family members, and we had the best view.

Poor cleaning job/not a short walk to to the beach!

For $850+ dollars and only 2 nights(buyer beware), with a large cleaning fee, you would expect the house to be clean and the kitchen to be well stocked with things needed. This was not the case. 5 bulbs out, floors dirty, toilets not cleaned, towels smelled unclean, no cleaning supplies. I had to disinfect and clean which took away from the whole point of going on a vacation from home. Plus, the road to and from the house is long, extremely steep and dangerously narrow. You cannot "walk" to the beach. There is no access from house to walk to the main road so false advertising. The home itself is lovely but it is obvious the owners are just in it for the money and do the bare minimum for their vacationers. We do not recommend.

Perfect getaway

Cozy coastal house with amazing ocean views. This was an ideal place to hunker down for a few days, even in stormy weather. Make sure you bring your own coffee and cooking oil!

Nice house DIRTY floors

The house smelled plesant when we arrived We removed shoes at the door. We quickly realized there was significant grime...like dark brown bottom of my feet, grime thru socks- yuck! All hard surface floors need a serious cleaning. Adequate otherwise.. good views.

Great location and we’ll definitely return!

The house was great and the view was spectacular. We had such a wonderful time! The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were comfortable. Great experience overall!!!

Good location

I tried several times to connect with the owners or vacasa. I never heard back from anyone. Several times! I was unable to use the cable and there were two big games my family wanted to watch. Internet was spotty at best. I don't go to the beach for internet and tv but it's advertised with both. Kitchen cookware needs a serious upgrade.
