The cabin was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do, making it super handy for our daily adventures. After each day's fun, it was a peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Our little one especially loved exploring the area after dinner. Even though the cabin wasn't on the prairie, there was lots of wildlife to enjoy. Ducks and deer were everywhere, and we were amazed by a family of Ospreys who built a huge nest on a post in the parking lot. The parking lot also featured an awesome ice cream truck, with the smell of fresh waffle cones filling the air. Nearby, there was a beautiful creek that was so peaceful, you’d forget you were in town. We mostly used the kitchen to cook breakfast before heading out for the day. It had everything we needed, which made cooking easy. The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets, so we all slept well.During our stay, it was over 100 degrees every day. The air conditioner was in the kitchen, which made cooling the bedrooms a bit tricky. But the two box fans, one in each bedroom, did a great job of bringing the cool air in at night, which was a lifesaver. All in all, this cabin was just right for my family of three adults and one four-year-old. It was comfy, convenient, and surrounded by nature, making our vacation truly memorable.
