Our stay was deeply disappointing due to inaccuracies in the listing. The space is far smaller than pictures suggest—extremely claustrophobic with only 7-foot ceilings and a 5’x9’ walkable footprint. Privacy was a major issue as the ill-fitting blinds left 3-inch gaps all the way around, making the interior, including bed fully visible from outside. Additionally, walking distances were misleading: Surin Beach is a strenuous 20-minute hill walk (not 9), and the advertised '5-minute' walk to Bang Tao leads to a non-swimming area, with an actual walk to a swimming beach around 9 minutes.The property is managed by Oleg and Olesya. Communication with Oleg was extremely poor; he either ignored our questions, or provided unrelated answers, showing a total lack of customer service. Despite my messages being in English, he inexplicably replied in Russian, only. While Olesya was more helpful, she ignored our request to keep communication on the VRBO platform (as officially recommended) and was using WhatsApp instead.We booked this place for 9 days but had to request cancellation immediately after check-in. Due to extremely poor communication we ended up staying for 3 days, which were filled with frustration rather than relaxation. We cannot recommend this place, especially given that it is severely overpriced. On very short notice we managed to find a wonderful, spacious villa nearby for only 15 more a day, offering excellent service, great energy, and zero hassle.
