Built for the slow start to a beach week — Brisa Marina is a recently renovated one-bedroom on Bay View's ninth floor with a private city-side balcony, a Queen bed in the bedroom, and a Queen sleeper sofa in a dedicated second sleeping room. The good coffee's already in the cabinet, and Bay View's indoor pool/lazy river complex sits a few floors down. The StayMareni Guest Guide covers where to eat, what to skip, and the corners of Myrtle Beach most visitors walk past.
The Space:
Brisa Marina is the recently renovated ninth-floor suite at Bay View — a one-bedroom with a separate sleeping room for the sleeper sofa, set up for couples, a working remote week, or a quiet pair of friends. The living room shows the renovation work first: fresh LVP flooring, modern furniture, a comfy sofa pulled around a wall-mounted 50-inch Smart TV, and a mustard-and-burgundy palette that gives the suite some color without trying too hard. The private balcony opens straight off the living room. The view is city-side — not oceanfront — looking over the bay-side rooflines and Homewood Suites; quiet, settled, and a different kind of morning than the surf-front rooms.
The primary bedroom holds a Queen bed with a two-tone wood diamond-inlay headboard, a Smart TV, and a curtained punched window. The second sleeping room holds the Queen sleeper sofa folded out — a dedicated room with a door, not a couch in the living area. The bath is a full shower/tub combo with a granite-topped vanity, closet doors, and tile flooring. A handful of finishes in the bedrooms and bath retain their older layer — the renovation work concentrated in the living room and kitchen first.
The kitchen is built around the way you actually cook: granite counters, Keurig already loaded for the early riser, the welcome basket on the counter when you walk in. An in-unit washer/dryer just off the living room keeps the longer week easy.
Bay View's strength sits a few floors down — the heated indoor swimming pool, heated indoor lazy river, and indoor kiddie pool keep the day usable when the weather doesn't cooperate, and the oceanfront pool with hot tub takes over when it does. The oceanfront pool deck has a fire pit for the evening, and a palm-lined path runs from the deck to the sand. Giant chess and checkers, shuffleboard, and a fitness room round it out. A Starbucks on the ground floor handles the morning before you've left the building. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is a ten-minute walk south. Free parking in the covered garage across the street.
Guest Access:
The full suite is yours — one bedroom, one bath, a dedicated second sleeping room with a Queen sleeper sofa, a private city-side balcony, in-unit washer/dryer, and Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. Other Things to Note:
Welcome to Brisa Marina — ninth-floor, recently renovated, and built for the slow start to a beach week.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your door code arrives on check-in day and the suite is ready when you walk in — K-cups, popcorn, and cookies on the counter, hotel-quality toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, body wash, and lotion), and the kind of hotel-grade linens and towels we'd want for ourselves. Pool bands and the building keycard are in the suite when you arrive. High-speed WiFi runs throughout the building. Parking pass for the free covered garage across the street. The StayMareni Guest Guide covers the dinner spots, day trips, and corners of Myrtle Beach the brochures don't bother with.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
A few things we don't stock so you can plan ahead: cooking oils, butter, salt and pepper, and spices (bring what you'll actually use, or grab them at the grocery on the way in); beach chairs, umbrellas, or beach toys (chair rentals set up right on the sand); daily housekeeping (the suite is cleaned and ready before you arrive; mid-stay refreshes available on request for a small fee); personal toiletries beyond the welcome set (toothpaste, razors, sunscreen); and TV streaming logins (sign in with your own accounts). Pool towels are provided by Bay View at the pool deck and must stay at the pool — they're not for beach use.
VIEW NOTE
This suite is on the bay/city side of the building, not the oceanfront side. The balcony looks over rooflines, parking, and Homewood Suites — quiet, but not the Atlantic. The oceanfront pool and the beach are a short walk down through the building.
PEST CONTROL
Routine, preventive in-suite pest control by Beach Pest Service runs monthly on the first Thursday. MPG handles all in-suite scheduling — standard building maintenance, set up in advance.
GOOD TO KNOW
A few things worth knowing up front. First, building entry is by keycard — four readers across the front doors, and your card is in the suite when you arrive (also required to enter the parking garage, so don't leave it in the room). Second, the parking garage sits across the street at Flagg & 5th Ave N with 7-foot clearance — fine for standard vehicles, tight for SUVs with roof racks and most vans. Use the south side of the building (15-minute parking) for unloading. Third, Bay View requires pool bands on the deck and in the water — yours are in the welcome set in the suite. Fourth, the trash goes to housekeeping, not down the hall — leave bagged trash in the designated spot and our team handles it.
Friendly reminder: smoke-free homes, the booking guest must be 21 or older, and Bay View requires pool bands on the deck and in the water — yours are in the suite at check-in.
