Kick off your shoes and feel the sand between your toes — 728 Ensenada Court is less than a minute walk from the beach in the heart of South Mission Beach. Spread across the second and third floors of a beautifully appointed beach house, this 2,100 sq ft retreat blends modern luxury with the laid-back energy of one of San Diego's most beloved coastal neighborhoods.

Granite countertops, travertine floors, and thoughtful finishes throughout make this feel like a true home away from home — not just a place to sleep.

**The Space**

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms sleeping up to 10 guests, there's room for the whole crew:

- Bedroom 1 — Two Queen beds
- Bedroom 2 — Queen bed
- Bedroom 3 — King bed
- Bedroom 4 — King bed

Occupying the second and third floors, the home offers a spacious and comfortable layout designed for relaxed coastal living. The property is a duplex, with the lower unit rented separately.

Step out from the living room onto the second-floor patio and soak in the neighborhood's relaxed atmosphere with peeks of the sparkling Pacific to the west. Head up to the third floor and the primary suite opens onto a private patio with unobstructed views of the sand and ocean — the kind of view you'll want to wake up to every morning.

Everything You Need — And Then Some

We've stocked the house so you can focus on the beach, not the errands:

Essentials: AC, WiFi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, full cookware and tableware, cable TV, and two parking spaces in the garage.

Beach gear included: Boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and a built-in BBQ for evening cookouts. Shampoo, soap, detergent, and linens all provided.

The Location

South Mission Beach puts you in the sweet spot between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay — walkable to the boardwalk, restaurants, shops, and water sports rentals. Whether you're here for a family vacation, a friend group getaway, or a long weekend escape, this is the San Diego beach experience at its best.

Excellent host regarding communication, response time, information provided. Beautifully renovated in all areas. Garage is wonderful to have in the area. Surrounding area is a fun beach town, boardwalk, and it is just steps to the sand!

We found this property for our family of 10 (though it ended up being only 8 of us). It was perfect. Barely a block from the beach and a short walk to Belmont Park where it was lively and full of energy. Lucas was our host and he was great from the beginning to the end. Very good at communicating and answered any questions that we had promptly. The property is just the way as it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our family to hang out on the balcony, or downstairs on the patio. The grill was great for our 2 nights of bbqing. The grill itself was immaculately clean. Beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, 2 boogie boards, cornhole were provided which made things easy. The kitchen is fully stocked though I would suggest not using the stainless steel calphalon's as they stick really bad and it was hard for us to clean the pans after scrambling eggs. There was one small non-stick pan there that we ended up using for everything else. Showers were also fully stocked along with bath towels. 2 car garage, although one of the cars didn't fit (a Ford F150 - quite large) so we had to park a block away in the public parking area of the park. 2 sedans should fit fine though. Thank you, Lucas for the "housewarming" gifts left on the kitchen counter. We would definitely stay here again as it was close to everything, lots of small details to make our stay comfortable and Lucas was great.

We feel extremely lucky to have stayed here. The absolute perfect location and enough room for multiple families. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were comfortable. Having the outdoor patio available was a lifesaver with all of the small kids we had. Highly recommend this home and can’t wait to stay here next summer!

Our family of 8, ranging in age from 9-76 rented both units and stayed for 5 days mid-June. We were welcomed by a bottle of wine and chocolates on the counters. The freezer had bags of ice for beach coolers. Those welcoming touches set the tone. Beds were very comfortable, spaces were generous, and we used the washer and dryer several times in both units. Televisions, even though we didn't have time to watch much, were in all rooms and the main ones were large. We loved the privacy. The location was steps to the beach (and I was on crutches) I was also able to walk to the Mission Market and the liquor store. The Cannonball restaurant was so good. Great location. We spent a lot of time on the decks in the sunshine and breezes. We also cooked every breakfast and several other meals on the main floor. We ordered delivery from Vons because Ralph's did not deliver even though it was closer. Communication with Lucas was great from the start of the reservation to the end of the stay. He texted after we arrived to see if everything was in order. The cleanup upon leaving was simple: leave towels on bathroom floor, run the dishwasher, and clean out used food. We all agreed the vacation was "epic" and location and comfort of our rental home was a big part of that. Thank you.
