• Bear Aware – Important Safety Rule
We are in active bear country year-round. For your safety and to protect local wildlife:
• Never leave food, snacks, trash, coolers, scented items, or groceries in your car — even briefly.
A guest recently had their car broken into by a bear because nuts were left inside. Bears can open doors, break windows, and cause major damage in seconds.
• Always store trash in the bear box and double-check the lock.
Bears will test bins, cars, and porches nightly.
• Do not leave food, drinks, or coolers outside at any time.
• Keep car doors locked at all times.
• Do not approach or feed wildlife.
These precautions keep you safe, prevent property damage, and help keep Tahoe’s wildlife wild.
PET POLICY:
We kindly ask that no pets be brought to the home.
Guests traveling with service animals or emotional support animals as allowed under California regulation are welcome. Please let us know prior to arrival so we can help ensure the home is prepared for your stay.
