Close to Bend, Mt Bachelor, and all of the outdoors! 🪵 The Space: A Cozy, Classic Sunriver Cabin Welcome to our charming, original Sunriver A-frame cabin! Built in 1973, this cabin (approx. 1,100 sq. ft.) embraces its rustic roots with a modern, stylish twist. It is the perfect cozy base camp for a family or small group who values location and charm over expansive size. ⚠️ Please Note: This is a compact, classic Sunriver cabin with small rooms and limited storage. If you require a large, modern home, this may not be the right fit for your group. 🏡 Cabin Layout & Size DOWNSTAIRS: Features a cozy living room with a partially vaulted A-frame ceiling, a wood-burning fireplace, and our small but fully-equipped kitchen. A convenient half-bathroom is located on this level. Upstairs: Contains both compact bedrooms and the sleeping loft. 🛏️ Sleeping & Bathroom Arrangements (Crucial Details) We have a 1.5 bathroom setup—meaning there is only ONE full shower/bathtub in the entire cabin, located upstairs. PRIMARY BEDROOM (Upstairs): Queen Bed in a compact, private room with closet space. SECONDARY BEDROOM (Upstairs): Full-Size Bed. This room is quite cozy, perfect for one to two adults that don’t mind a full size bed or two children that don’t mind sharing a bed. LOFT SPACE (Upstairs): Queen Bed in an OPEN AREA. This is an open loft space for additional sleeping. It shares the entry door to the upstairs Full Bathroom and a dedicated workspace. It is not private. 🔑 Key Features to Love THE VIBE: We embrace the "OG Sunriver Cabin" feel! You'll find a blend of original wood paneling and exposed rock chimney mixed with modern flooring and furnishings. KITCHEN: A small, cute kitchen fully stocked with all the essentials you’ll need for cooking meals. COZY LIVING: The sunken living room with the wood-burning fireplace is an ideal place to gather after a day of adventuring. STORAGE: Storage space is limited, particularly on the main floor. Please pack with this in mind! We love the unique character and history of this small cabin and hope you will too! Check-In Details: • Key Access: A physical key will be provided in a lockbox securely mounted on the left-hand side of the front porch (as you are facing the house). • The lockbox code will be sent to you via the Airbnb messaging app 24 hours prior to your scheduled 4:00 PM check-in time. • Please place the key back in the lockbox when checking out. Parking: • You are welcome to park up to two standard-sized vehicles in the driveway directly in front of the cabin. Restricted Areas: Community Access (Important): • Access to Sunriver Owner's Association (SROA) facilities, including the SHARC aquatic center, ARE INCLUDED with tgis rental. 🤝 Interaction with Guests We aim to provide you with a completely private and relaxing stay. Since the home utilizes self-check-in, we will not meet you in person. COMMUNICATION: We prefer to use the Airbnb messaging platform for all non-urgent questions and requests. We are quick to respond during business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST). EMERGENCIES: If you have an urgent issue with the home (e.g., a maintenance problem, a plumbing leak), please call or text me directly. The phone number will be provided after booking. 🌲 Other Details to Note (Important) Your stay in Sunriver is governed by the Sunriver Owners Association (SROA) rules, which are strictly enforced. By booking this chalet, you agree to abide by the following community and cabin-specific rules: Community Rules & Safety QUIET HOURS: Strictly enforced between **10:00 PM and 7:00 AM**. Sound carries easily in the forest. Please move conversations and music indoors during this time. FIRES/OUTDOOR COOKING: Due to extreme fire risk, NO wood-burning outdoor fires, firepits, or charcoal grills are allowed. Only gas, pellet, or electric BBQs are permitted on the deck. WILDLIFE: We share this community with deer, elk, and other wildlife. DO NOT feed or approach the animals. Deer and elk can be aggressive, especially when protecting their young. Please keep all trash secured. SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin and on the decks. Cabin & Weather Specifics 1.5 BATHROOMS, ONE SHOWER: We repeat, the cabin has only ONE full shower/bathtub, located upstairs. The downstairs half-bath is a toilet and sink only. Please plan showers accordingly, especially with larger groups. ORIGINAL CABIN FEEL: As a cozy 1973 A-frame, our windows are not floor-to-ceiling modern panes, and the home's insulation and temperature regulation are consistent with a classic cabin. That said, the cabin heats well and is cozy! WINTER TRAVEL: Sunriver is at 4,165 feet elevation and receives significant snow (average 45+ inches annually). CHAINS OR TRACTION TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED on roads to and from Sunriver during winter months (Nov-Apr). We recommend using a 4WD/AWD vehicle in winter. FIREPLACE: Guests are welcome to use the wood-burning fireplace downstairs. Wood is not provided, so please plan to purchase your own. Never leave a fire unattended. HOT TUB: Unfortunately, we do NOT have a hot tub at this property. We appreciate your help in keeping our home and neighborhood peaceful and safe!
