Great little holiday house

Jacqui was always prompt in responding to any queries. Place was clean and beds were pristinely made up on arrival. Kids were very happy with their bunk bed. Main living area was a comfortable place to relax with the family, with wifi, split system heating and smart tv all working well. Kitchen and laundry had everything we needed. Hot water never ran out. Electric heaters in the bedrooms worked well. Plenty of extra towels and blankets available, though don’t use the blanket in the box near the front door for the bedrooms -it appears to be for picnics and is quite sandy. Place is literally across the road from the beach and a short drive from the main shopping strip and Rye playground. Great, convenient place for a family holiday if you want something more comfortable than a camping trip.

Location location location

Right on the water with easy access to a well-stocked boat shed, it was a dream for us. The house is very cute, clean and comfortable. The house and backyard could do with some minor tweaks, but it suited us for a short stay!

Just what we needed after a long lockdown!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend away at this property. Everything you could possibly need and more was provided. There was a beautiful fireplace, lovely towels and linen, the kitchen had everything you need plus there were additional heaters for when it was a cold night! Indoors and outdoors this property is just perfect for a weekend away. So close to the beautiful beach and to all the shops but still peaceful and quiet. Thank you so much for having us Jacqui!

Older but well-maintained property just a short walk to the beach. The kids loved their separate bungalow.

Peaceful,awesome location.

Had a careful stay here,social distancing/hygiene strictly observed.Still was a terrific destination,close to walking paths and both Blairgowrie and Rye centres for groceries/supplies.Owners here are very friendly and professional and the house itself is just fantastic.

Went to Waitemata hoping for a quiet relaxing stay,and got exactly that.Comfortable retro house set in a treed area with some bay views.Offers relaxing garden areas to take in the natural landscape. Scenic walks available along the foreshore track/beach either toward Blairgowrie/Sorrento or Rye/Tootgarook/Rosebud.Owner/manager communication very good.

We had an enjoyable time. The place is in a great location.
