Welcome to the Onion City Retreat, where Winooski is waiting for you at this charming 2-bedroom apartment. Winooski got its name from the Abenaki dialect and means “where the wild onion grows.” Inside, guests will find one bedroom with a soothing space featuring a king bed and the other bedroom with a full-size bed. You will also have a living room with a convenient full-size Murphy bed. Climate control keeps the apartment pleasant year-round with heating and AC. On a warm day, relax on the large back deck with views of Camel's Hump and UVM. Cozy up on the couch to read a book or watch a movie on cool weather days. Regardless, whether you’re unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying a quiet morning, this terrific spot feels like a true home away from home. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. Featured artwork by a local artist is available for purchase.

It was a very nice stay! Place was clean, the host left great dinner recommendations, we were provided accommodations to do laundry while there, and it was quiet/peaceful! The only downside for us was that there was not AC even though it was mentioned in the posting - fortunately several standing fans were provided and it was cool outside so we were able to sleep with the windows open. We would stay here again!

We loved our visit to the Onion City Retreat! Laura is an excellent host, and the apartment is lovely, spacious, clean, well-equipped, and located very conveniently in Winooski. The view of UVM and Camel's Hump from the relaxing deck is terrific. We enjoyed the entire experience, and we look forward to staying here again.

Loved this place. Very clean and had everything we needed for a short or long stay. I will definitely be staying here again because it is close to the city of Burlington and not a far drive from ski resorts.

Low key, out of the way spot within close driving distance to Burlington downtown and campus. Ideal place if you’re in town for a show or to see your college kids for break. Check in was easy and the host was quick to reply. Definitely recommend.

This was a perfect spot for a night out in Burlington! Amazing location. Lots to do in the area. The apartment was bigger than I expected and we had plenty of room to relax after a long day out. Any question I had Laura was quick to answer.

Laura was a great host! Friendly, helpful, easy to communicate with! The rental was perfect for myself and my friend as a basecamp to rest and catch up while visiting to Burlington to deal with some family matters. Great location and truly beautiful views over Winooski and Burlington!

This place was clean and in a quiet area, it perfect to work from for a week. The kitchen was well equipped, they even supplied all hand soap, dish soap, salt, black pepper, oil, coffee for the first morning. The shower came with shampoo, conditioner, soap and had a hair dryer. There was a desk in one of the bedrooms that I could work from, internet was good.

A great spot to stay for a Vermont getaway weekend! Laura was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is close to 88 for easy access to other parts of the state, but the center of Winooski had everything we needed as well! A nice quiet neighborhood with clear instructions on how to access the space. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend Laura’s place in Winooski!

We are both originally from New York State and landed here about 30 years ago. We are so proud to call Vermont home! We love the outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and more. We also love to travel and explore restaurants, breweries, and cafes. We are so excited to have you stay at the Onion City Retreat!

We lived in a neighboring town for years and once we became empty nesters we knew we were ready to move on. We love living in a city where we can walk to anything we need. We not only have our Airbnb in Winooski, but live here as well.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The apartment is its own unit, so guests essentially have their own home. It boasts a large deck with beautiful views and has a private backyard as well. We are just a 10 minute walk to the circle, and less than a 5 minute drive to I89. It is the perfect location!
