The Space:
If you are looking for a superb, walkable location our Practical Harbor by the Beach we think is a great choice. This is clean, yet older / basic 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms that is less than 100 yards to the beach with many restaurants, bars & shopping within a 5 min walk
This is one of 4 condos in this building with a pool in the back. Ground floor, no stairs required. Inside you will find all tile floors, high ceilings, and a eat in counter + unique corner bench style dining table all at a very affordable price
We do allow up to 8 people, though the bedding is more suitable for that many only if you have some kids involved. You are allowed to bring a BBQ grill though we ask you do this in the front of the building not by the pool as that space is shared with all guests
You will find the kitchen is fully equipped with all pots, pans, dishes etc. to save time & money doing a bit of cooking at the condo as it is ready to go. . This property does not have a dishwasher unfortunately
The master bedroom has a king bed with en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has a fun full sized bed over a full size with a roll out twin sized trundle bed for much sleeping space.
There is a couch in the living room & we provide a queen sized airbed for more sleeping areas, but please do bring bedding if you plan on using. The couch is not a sleeper sofa unfortunately.
As we manage this entire 4 plex, contact us if you would like to book more than one condo here - they are nearly identical inside.
The public beach access is at the end of Harbor Street, with CVS right there, superb food across the street at Nautico, or walk down to delicious Italian at Meatball Cafe, Cafe Karma, Grapevine with gluten free & organic choices, or Subway, Dairy Queen, & McDonald's if you want something quick. Walkable to Longboards Cafe, Tequila Sunsets, famous Louise Backyard’s seafood buffet, or fun for the kids at Gravity Park with go carts & mini golfing.
While this is not a brand new remodel, it is fully functional, professionally maintained & cleaned locally by the best property manager on Island which is South Padre Trips
There are 2 off street parking spaces here included with each condo. Up to 2 pets are allowed for an additional fee, please just ask. Pets are not allowed in pool area though & may not be left alone to bark.
Contact us for pool hours, and also we do offer very significant off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15th, as well for discounts for veterans & active duty military. Please reach out we can let you know we would love to host you
Fresh Towels & bed linens are provided, as well as a starter pack of soaps and trash bags though it is not unlimited nor resupplied so please plan accordingly. We do have coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, non stick cooking spray and Salt/Pepper all in the condo too but not unlimited nor restocked
For stays longer than 3 nights, you can exchange towels and linens for free at our office, South Padre Island Trips, at 2600 Padre Blvd. Office open 7 days a week, and we answer phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week a rare thing for a host

Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 23 years of age or older and present at check-in. If you are NOT 23 years of age you MUST contact us prior to booking as there are additional damage/security deposit requirements if you are not 23 for us to comply with property rules
While we want you to have fun, this is not a party property and we do security patrol this condo property at night , FYI.
Please note we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. You may e-sign the rental agreement via E sign prior to arrival to receive your door code. Please provide your email address and attach a photo of your ID to verify your age.
An electronic door code is provided to enter the property via text message to the cell phone number on file by 3 pm on day of check in. We do not provide door codes earlier as we cannot have guests attempting to park nor slowing down maid service of course. If you need a somewhat earlier check in, contact our office on day of check in around 1 pm and we can check for you.
Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 10 pm to 9 am. No Smoking * No Parties * No Exceptions
Check in is 3 pm. Check out is 11 am
Our short term City of South Padre Rental License can be provided upon request.

For your shopping needs, CVS is conveniently located right at the end of Harbor Street. If you're looking for family fun, Gravity Park with go-karts and mini-golf is also within easy reach. The area offers a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement, making it an ideal spot for your vacation.

Conveniently located in the heart of South Padre Island, our condo offers easy access to transportation. Free parking is available for two vehicles in designated off-street spaces. For those arriving by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) is approximately a 35-minute drive away. Getting around the island is a breeze with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. Public transportation options are limited, so having a car or using ride-sharing services is recommended for exploring further afield. The beach is just steps away, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand without needing to worry about parking or long commutes.

You'll receive an electronic door code via text on the day of your arrival by 3 PM. An e-sign rental agreement and a photo ID are required after booking to comply with city regulations. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old unless otherwise arranged. This is not a party property, and quiet hours are from 10 PM to 9 AM. Loud noises, including music, are strictly prohibited. The pool is open from 8 AM to 9 PM. We provide a starter pack of essentials; for longer stays, you may need to bring extra supplies. Please ensure all dishes are washed and the trash is taken out upon departure. Unauthorized guests and subletting are not permitted. Pets are generally not allowed unless the listing specifies. For pet-friendly properties, fees apply, and pets must be well-behaved. Thank you for your cooperation!
