Newly renovated 1200 SqFt English basement apartment in historic Mt Pleasant! Perfect for couple, family or small group of friends! Walk to National Zoo, Rockcreek National Park, metro/buses, restaurants and bars. Book now to discover this hidden gem!

Our house is nested in the charming and quiet historic Mt Pleasant, yet with quick walking access to the lively neighborhood such as Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Woodley Park and Cleveland Park. One block from Mt Pleasant main street where you'll find neighborhood ethnic grocery stores, cafes, ice scream shops, deli and restaurants. 5 min walk to major bus lines and 10-15 min walk to the Columbia Heights Metro Station, making sightseeing the city a breeze. 2 blocks to enter trails in Rockcreek National Park, the largest inner city National Park in the country.

You'll be staying in the newly renovated English basement apartment that offers open floor plan with exposed bricks, 2-story ceiling high living room and loft space, large living/dining area with smart TV and high speed Wi-Fi. The full size kitchen has everything you'd need to make this your home away from home. It offers 2 spacious bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds and a 3rd queen size pull out couch by Serta.

PARKING: Free street parking with visitor pass. Gated parking on premise is available at $25/day.

PET: ONE dog under 25 Lbs is allowed upon request with $75 pet fee per stay.

Beautiful apartment on a lovely street. Close to the zoo, Metro and shopping. Ying was a wonderful and communicative host. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this home! The basement apartment feels like a full home, it is well appointed with two comfortable beds, a great living room/kitchen area and dining space. The hosts are attentive and caring, the space is immaculate. The property offers easy access to navigating surrounding historical Mount Pleasant, the National Zoo both walkable from the property; and downtown DC by car. We enjoyed the host's recommendations for outstanding local restaurants and activities. Come enjoy this lovely space and the local cusine.

Ying was an incredibly helpful, communicative, and kind host. We spent 4 nights in the apartment and enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and amenities like the washer/dryer and full kitchen. Mt. Pleasant is a lovely community with a farmers' market and friendly neighbors. We had never been to DC before, so we didn't expect to be a 15–20-minute drive from the museums but getting around was very easy with a short walk to busses and train.
