Major issues with the hot water in the Casita. Did not work. The water heater was unplugged. And every time you watered to take a shower you had to go outside around the back of the casita and push the button to turn the water heater on. It’s a tankless water heater. And no one explained that to us and it was not in the manual. Thank god I have experience with tankless water heaters.

The house is nice, but if you have other options I would look elsewhere. I’ve never experienced such poor communication with a host, which doesn’t even make sense as they’re a large company not an individual. There’s also a 20 minute long zoom “orientation” they force you to do which is the definition of “this could have been an email.” When I did manage to get someone to message back, they were both unhelpful and extremely restrictive. If this is the only house left then it will do in a pinch but go with your other option if you can.

Hi Joel, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the home itself, though we are sorry that parts of your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that the virtual check-in is a requirement of the City of Palm Springs for all vacation rental guests and is not a policy created by our company. To make the process as convenient as possible, we offer a brief Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting so guests can proceed directly to the property without the need for an in-person check-in. We also take guest communication seriously and strive to provide timely and helpful support throughout each stay. We regret that we fell short of your expectations and will use your feedback to continue improving our guest experience. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and wish you the very best in your future travels.
