We fell in love with this neighborhood because it offers the best of lake life without the crowds. It’s quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by mature trees, making it the perfect place to slow down and relax.

One of our favorite things is taking an evening walk and catching glimpses of Tims Ford Lake through the trees. You’ll often see deer, hear birds singing, and enjoy the kind of peaceful evenings that are hard to find these days. Even though it feels tucked away, you’re only minutes from Rock Creek Boat Ramp, marinas, local restaurants, and everything you need for a great stay.

We also love that families can enjoy a little extra space here. The large yard gives kids room to play, there’s plenty of parking for boats and trailers, and after a day on the lake, guests can come back to a quiet place to soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or simply relax on one of the porches.

For us, it’s the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and the slower pace that makes a lake vacation memorable.

Dragonfly Cove offers the perfect combination of space, comfort, and value. While we’re not lakefront, we’re just across the road from beautiful Tims Ford Lake, giving guests the lake experience without the lakefront price.

Our thoughtfully remodeled 5-bedroom home comfortably sleeps up to 10, making it ideal for families, fishing trips, girls’ weekends, and multi-generational vacations. With three furnished porches, a private hot tub, fire pit, cornhole, tree swing, and two kayaks, there’s something for everyone to enjoy without ever leaving the property.

Guests also appreciate our fully stocked kitchen, boat-friendly pull-through parking, spacious one-acre yard, and the little details that make a stay feel effortless. We’ve worked hard to create a home that’s both beautiful and practical—a place where you can spend the day exploring the lake and come back to relax in comfort.

As small, hands-on owners, we personally care for Dragonfly Cove and are continually adding thoughtful touches to make every guest’s stay even better. Our goal is simple: to provide a place where families and friends can unplug, reconnect, and make memories they’ll talk about long after the vacation ends.
