Affectionately called the "Moo Cow" by the owners family, this apartment is located in a historic dairy barn built in the 1800’s known as the Cold Spring Stock Farm. The farm was named for the many natural springs found on the original 140 acre property! This beautiful and comfortable retreat has everything for a relaxing stay in the local countryside including an equipped kitchen for preparing your own meals or snacks, modern bathroom, 55" flatscreen TV, lovely views and a beautiful night sky filled with brilliant stars! Watch the sunrise while drinking coffee on the porch!
Modern amenities galore with farm charm combined with quiet , peaceful surroundings. During nice weather there 16 acres of undeveloped fields and woods to hike on.

Heating and AC(if needed) keep the barn comfortable year-round. Dirty clothes are no problem with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Roomy bedrooms with a Queensize bed and new gelfoam mattresses will have you wanting to sleep in late! Closets are a great size and come with plenty of hangers!
The living area is open concept so you can enjoy a meal at the dining room table then relax on the couch while reading or watching your favorite show on the 55" flatscreen TV.

This is great for people visiting Hamilton Village , Colgate U , Hamilton College , antiquing in Bouckville, enjoying fall foliage, winter / snow activities , visiting local family …. Or just getting away in a unique setting without sacrificing comfort!
It's way better and more interesting than a tiny hotel/ motel room!

4 wheel drive/AWD vehicle for staying here during the winter months to ensure getting in and out of the driveway. It is plowed but can be slippery. We do not provide towing service ! Not suitable for limited mobility guests.
No pets and no smoking on the premises! Property is monitored by security cameras outside. There are dogs and pets that live on the property.
There is also a small pond(non-swimming) requiring close supervision if travelling with young children.
