Finca Matisse in Porto Colom

Modern country house with a 15 metre pool close to Porto Colom. Finca Matisse is an elegant and luxurious residence with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms en-suite. It is well suited for a stylish holiday, seminars or a yoga retreat.

Finca Matisse is located close to Porto Colom in a quiet location. The beautiful village on the Southeast coast has a romantic harbour and offers some excellent restaurants and various beaches. At only 4 kilometres distance from the house, there is the Vall d'Or golf course, which offers demanding greens and breathtaking sea views. The lively holiday resort Cala d'Or is only a short drive away and offers a wide variety of leisure activities, seven beaches and a pedestrian zone with bars, shops and restaurants.

Finca Matisse is a grand holiday residence with selected furniture and fittings, apt to meet very high expectations. The ground floor is distributed in kitchen/dining room, living room and two bedrooms as well as a guest toilet. The large kitchen is open towards the dining area, has access to the dinner terrace and is fully fitted. It is fitted with two fridges, quality appliances and a kitchen island with induction field and two gas burners. The living room is split into a fireside lounge with two comfortable armchairs and a lounge with sofas and a large flat screen television set, which has access to the large terraces and the pool area. Just off the living room there is a sunny anteroom with two armchairs and doors to the two ground floor bedrooms. Both bedrooms are fitted with a double bed (180 x 200 cm). One of the bedrooms is overlooking the pool and the gardens and is furnished with a sofa lounge and a desk. It has a private terrace. The other bedroom is facing the back of the property and is furnished with a comfortable armchair and a desk. Both bedrooms have ample and modern bathrooms with shower en-suite.

On the first floor there is another anteroom with armchairs and four more bedrooms with double beds (180 x 200 cm), each with a large bathroom en-suite. The two bedrooms facing the pool have private, furnished terraces with fantastic views of the countryside and the sea in the distance. All four bedrooms are fitted with comfortable armchairs, a desk and flat screen television sets.

The house and the terraces are fitted with a bluetooth sound systems. Air-conditioning throughout.

Finca Matisse is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden with Mediterranean plants and a wonderfully fragrant lavender field at the pool. The pool measures 15 x 4 metres and has large sun terraces on either side. The house itself has several terraces with lounge furniture and a large dinner terrace, which is fitted with a dining table for 12 and a high tech gas grill. The gardens and terraces are beautifully lit at night. There is a yoga space in the garden as well as a volley ball field with a sand floor.

Pool heating: In autumn to spring (not in summer!), the pool can be heated at an additional cost of €60.00 per day. This flat rate is also charged for the desired pre-heating. This takes 24 to 96 hours, depending on the outside and (desired) water temperature. Note: Billing is done separately by invoice. No cash payment possible on site.

Children are welcome. 2 cots and 2 high chairs are available free on request.
Pool towels for exclusive use at the pool are provided. They may not be taken to the beach.
One intermediate cleaning and linen change are included in the price for all stays of 10 days or longer.
All bathrooms are fitted with one hair dryer.
Table tennis and beach volley ball.

Dogs are allowed on request. An extra cleaning fee of 150,00 € will be charged per stay.
3 weeks before arrival, a deposit of 3.000 € has to be paid by cash transfer, if the house was left without damage, the deposit will be re-transferred 3 days after departure.

Minimum stay is one week, additional days can be added.
