Only gave it four stars because we had a leach in the guest bedroom closet and the fridge but given the overall quality of the house if those issues were addressed I would definitely come back. Al’s obit was historic rain when we arrived and with heavy use houses these things happen.

This place was straight-up perfect—five stars, no question. The master bedroom felt like a little retreat, super cozy and private. Then there’s the bunk room with four beds—kids loved it, total sleepover vibes. And that pull-out couch? Comfy enough for me and my wife to crash without feeling like we were on a camping cot. Everything was spotless, well-stocked, and just… easy. Like, we walked in, kicked off our shoes, and didn’t want to leave. Galveston magic, honestly. Would book again in a heartbeat.

The house is adorable. Unfortunately who ever is servicing the unit for the host is not doing their job. Additionally the host is non responsive. We stayed Saturday and left Sunday. The host did not send a welcome email, I had to reach out to get check in details. While in the unit the air conditioning was not working. The unit was set to 71 and continued to climb to 77. I contacts the host via the chat and they did not respond. I reached out via phone and they said they would have someone come out. No one ever came out. The freezer door handle is broken off and the freezer leaks across the kitchen. There was no soaps in the unit as described, all containers were empty in the unit. However there are some positive aspects about our stay, the beds were comfy and the restrooms were clean and spacious! Had the unit been serviced and working properly with a responsive host I would have given all the stars.
