We loved the location also, because it was away from the town but yet very easy and close to get to everything. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and couldn’t have asked for more. The location (close to the artist loop) was great and we enjoyed the fire table each night and the hot tub as well! The kids loved watching movies on the comfy sofa and I appreciate that it is a pet friendly cabin. Communication was amazing before and during our stay. I would absolutely stay again!

Cabin was very clean. Hot tub was also very clean. Had an issue with the fire put but property management was very quick to respond and fixed the issue. We liked that the grill was plumbed for gas as well. Made it much easier than dealing with LP or charcoal.

Overall, Elk Springs communicated very well and I was pleased with the cabin. They kept me up to date and with the information we needed. The views were not as good as the pics due to the foliage growing over. Cabin was great though for the family. Only issue we had was the freezer door was left open, not a big deal. I dumped the ice and everything worked perfectly.

Management checked in a few times during our stay via text message to make sure we had no issues. Silvercreek, Blackjack, and Mountain Laurel. They were all in close proximity... so everyone was able to go back and forth. We had a spectacular time. Close to all of the local attractions, nearby grocery stores. From working with their reservation department making recommendations to best accommodate our group, to staff calling during our stay to ensure our satisfaction, to offering to ship left items after departure. I would highly recommend using this resort as they truly collaborate with you to make your customer experience their priority.

The house was beautiful, we did ask for someone to come and blow off the decks. The property managers were very responsive to our needs. We even had a visitor from the woods would definitely recommend Elk Springs Resort

Slept in a cold basement

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My rental experience at this cabin was mediocre. There are 3 levels for this cabin, the master is upstairs, the main living quarters are on the second floor and the bunk bed, game room, hot tub, etc is on the bottom floor. The bottom floor is where our boys spent most of their time, along with where they slept. Unfortunately, there isn’t any heat down there. I called maintenance, they brought a tiny space heater the next day. The first night they slept in the absolute cold, the second night they brought the space heater that wasn’t efficient enough to warm the downstairs, it remained cold.

We loved our stay in Blackjack, everything was in perfect conditions. Just 10min away from Gatlinburg, so its right on the spot.Now, as a suggestion for future guest, after you take your trash out, try to contact Elk Spring Maintenance team, they are the best by the way!, but contact them to pick up the trash, just in case you dont want to have scare jumps at night or in the mornings with a Bear poking at the trash site! hehe. And last but not least, the Jacuzzi that's outside, it's on a spot that could be dangerous at nights. Why? Well if a Bear goes to poke/smell at the Trash he is just steps away to access that Area, it will be good to add some kind of wooden fence or something that will block the access to the 1st floor where the Jacuzzi is located( or right behind the entry stairs). Besides this scares that we had with the Bears, the cabin and everything it's a must! 100% recommended!

It was an easy drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Smokey Mountains. We enjoyed it so much, we looked to book over Christmas but it was already full 😢. If I had to identify one complaint, it was that there was not a treadmill (a few of the pictures showed one). While this wasn’t a huge issue as we were able to run around the resorts, my cross county running kids would have appreciated it.

Luckily we had great weather and a great place to stay. Blackjack fit our needs completely. There was plenty of room and the house was well stocked for our stay. The location is close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The house was clean and in good condition. The internet was good enough to use streaming services which is a big plus. The only thing that could be better is that the bottom floor could have better climate control. The only time we used the lower level was when we went to the hot tub that was hot and clean. Overall Blackjack was a nice place to stay and I would definitely stay there again.

If I had to do over I would have brought DVD’s (pay attention to the home theater email you receive). Hot tub was great! We weren’t able to get the hot tub temperature to where we wanted it, quick call and the customer service was able to walk me thru the different modes of the hot tub. We are planning on booking this cabin again next year!

Treetop Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our GPS brought us in on a narrow windy road the back way from WV to our cabin. I would not recommend using that road as it is nearly impassable. Upon arriving, the cabin was easily accessible, had ample parking and smelled wonderfully clean. Everything was in working order. We had to do a slight adjustment to the float on the commode on the main level because it ran all night the first night. We did let staff know about this. Beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked with whatever we needed. Our group of 10 from age 7-72 had a wonderful family retreat here. Location is great as it is only 10 mins to Gatlinburg/20-25 from Pigeon Forge, and close to Food City. Our favorite place at the cabin was the huge wrap around porch. It felt like we were in a tree house. Would highly recommend! Only down side is there’s no pool at this resort or any cabin.
