Welcome to Alpenrosen Retreat, a spacious alpine escape just one block from Helen’s Main Street. Designed for connection, comfort, and convenience, this home is ideal for families and groups who want to stay together and walk everywhere.

After a day of tubing, hiking, shopping, or Oktoberfest fun, come home to relax in your private hot tub, cook a shared meal, or unwind in the open living space.

We really loved this place. The location was convenient to town and we did walk back and forth but it was a workout. The space itself was fantastic with plenty of room. The kids loved it and we even argued with them to go do things in town because they wanted to stay at the house. The host supplied everything you would need to take care of your family. We really appreciated the fast responses from the host and details that were put into the house to make it feel like a home. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The townhouse was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was super clean and with nice amenities and decor. Enjoyed the games left by the owners or other tenants. No ice maker, so make sure you grab some. The hot tub was nice but got cold fairly quickly due to it being plugged into a 110 outlet and not a 220. Also, if you take dogs there is not any good place to take them. The only spot is at the end of the row and near a drop off. It was also muddy and very small. The location is nice, but you do have to drive to town. It says walking distance, but to get there you must walk a very narrow road that is well-traveled with no sidewalk as well as go down a steep hill that you must come back up to get back. Plenty of public parking in town, but it is much nicer to be able to walk everywhere.

We absolutely loved the house! It was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hot tub was perfect (you just need to give it some time to heat up). We’ll definitely be back someday!
