Whether you're seeking a quiet respite where you can sip coffee, swing in the hammock and animal watch or for an exciting family adventure with beach fun, campfires, yard games, bike rides, nearby kayaking and boating fun. The Knotty & Nice Cabin has what you are looking for. The front knotty pine room is perfect for relaxing with a good book but large enough for a family full of energy. Newer comfy beds and sleeper sofa, private sauna, woodburning stove, Streaming TV, access to 2 private beaches that are about a 5 minute walk from the cabin. If interested there is an option for a boat slip rental as well. Come create wonderful memories.

Pets: Dogs only please
- $50 fee per stay
*The couches are new so please keep your furry friends off the furniture.

The boat slip will be at North Point Marina - 5 min drive
- Dimensions of the slip: 22 ft long, 9 ft wide, 8-10ft deep
- No Jet skis
- $100 fee per week (shorter rentals are available)

Please note that the private beach in our association does not allow pets. If you wish for your pet to enjoy the water, you will need to go to the public access 2 miles North, or the beach in Tawas- about 15 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was very clean and nice. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and the neighbors were also very polite.

Great house for the family, including dogs, with lots of accessories (dog dishes, etc.) The host was extremely fast to respond and helpful.

Jeff and Renee are excellent hosts and the home is extremely comfortable! Having the marina right down the road was amazingly convenient. Great beach access too with just a short walk. Conveniently have bikes and a beach wagon, chairs, etc for use! Very thoughtful hosts!

Wonderful getaway at this cute creekside cabin! We loved all of the thoughtful touches, including a well-stocked kitchen, lots of outdoor equipment and s’mores ingredients. Access to walkable Lake Huron beaches was a HUGE perk! Hosts were super hospitable and communicative. Can’t wait to come back next summer.

It was very clean, organized and stocked with lots of amenities. Lots of things to do for all ages. Easy check in and out process. Very prompt response time from the host. All in all would recommend to anyone. Host has a lovely home and are very accommodating!

We loved the property and the home. The porch was a perfect spot to relax and was beautiful. The living area and kitchen were perfect! So close to the beach and things to do. We went golfing and caught the old car parade in Tawas City. What a fun weekend, we will definitely return!

The house was so nice with enough space and comfort for the family . We have great memories for many years with the kids and adults staying there . Having kids toys and bikes for us to use was also a blessing . Thank you for time we had there

This house was family friendly with plenty of sleeping space. Everything was very clean, organized, and ready to go when we got there. The host even provided extra things such as games, chairs, hammock, extra toiletries, and basic groceries so we wouldn't need to buy anything extra. She communicated promptly with anything that we did need and was always patient and kind. We had one issue while we were there, but she worked on it until it was fixed. We did not have any pets with us, but she had everything you would need for a dog as well. The house is located one street over from a beach. The water is beautiful! Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and will be staying here again if we venture back to Au Gres!

We had a great stay! Both beaches were within walking distance. Everything was as pictured. The host was very responsive and helpful. The property was well equipped and had lots of items for outdoor activities. The neighborhood was quiet. It was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay with a family. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Very clean and quiet. Lots of wildlife around. Very pet friendly and lots of extras like firewood, coffee bikes hammocks ect. Beach was quiet and nice.

The home was lovely, spacious and comfy. The host was quick to answer all of our questions. The beach was a short walk and completely private. We were almost completely alone on the beach for hours. Jut a lovely experience.
