Experience a perfect Maine coastal summer getaway in this lovely cottage. Guests will find a queen bedroom, a double bedroom, a dreamy sleeping loft, and a futon in the living room for a bit more sleeping space. Directly on the water with a brand new private dock with kayaks provided, and set on 40 acres of woods with access to additional conservation land and trails, you can easily spend the day exploring on the water and walking in the woods. Within easy reach of this secluded location, you'll have access to lobster rolls, Maine's finest oysters, shopping, and more in picturesque coastal towns: Bath (10 min), Brunswick (25 min), Wiscasset (15 min), and Damariscotta (30 min). Less than 1 hour drive from PWM airport.

Bird lovers can wake up to the sights and sounds of ospreys, eagles, owls, waterfowl, and songbirds. Spend a beach day at nearby Popham Beach or Reid State Park, or take the ferry from Boothbay Harbor to Monhegan Island. In the evenings, you can relax on the screened in porch or cozy living room, enjoying the stars and the sounds of nature.

Our waterfront is tidal, so we'll provide a tide chart and tide clock so you can plan around the highs and lows. The low tide reveals a mud flat for a few hours each day.

This peaceful setting is perfect for a couple, family, or small group of friends to unwind and enjoy that classic Maine summer. With one bathroom and heating to keep things comfortable, this rustic space feels like a true Maine camp.

We had a great time. The host replied right away when we had questions. We had a great time in Maine. What a beautiful area. A rustic cottage but a lovely place to stay, no doubt.

Had such a nice and relaxing stay here, and such kind and responsive hosts. Kayaks made for daily adventure. The right cookware for lobster meals. Proximity to many different little towns for adventure and eats. Highly recommend!!

We stayedfor 2 weeks and enjoyed our visit. The cottage is rustic but in a good way. Lots of windows to view the changing tides, as well as a screened porch to watch, deer, chipmunks, and birds. Our cat gave the porch two paws up! Very quiet locatuon. It's also conveniently located near Freeport, Bath, and Boothbay Harbor.

My teenage son and I loved staying here! What a little slice of Maine coastal beauty. It’s cozy and has everything you need for a stay enjoying the simple local beauty.I brought their camp chairs out to the dock and watched the birds diving while the tide was out and watching the beauty of the full tide as well.It’s not big or fancy but we were not looking for that. The views, the smell of the pines, and the ambiance was all Maine! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Our group had a great visit and I could easily see returning. Not only was it clean, but also not musty for being on the water and the hosts had the essential supplies available and not hard to find. Just note that the water is tidal in that area, so at low tide the water is further out. The nearness of the home to the water and being high up off the water made the view scenic where the entire wall of windows has the view. Beds, sheets and pillows comfortable.

These hosts are amazing to work with! They provided all the information plenty of time before we arrived and communicated with us throughout the trip. The location of this cabin is wonderful. It's a nice area of secluded getaways on the water. There are a couple of other cabins next to this one. We enjoyed taking walks around the area and even saw some baby turkeys. We enjoyed using the kayaks that the hosts provided and the water is a fun area to explore. It is a simple cabin without a lot of extra space, but the upper level provides an excellent option for additional space and we loved all of the windows looking out onto the water.
