This apartment has been completely renovated and refurbished, with work completed on June 4.
With 2 double beds and sleeping arrangements for the children, the apartment can accommodate 4 adults. Let’s start by highlighting the apartment’s unique feature: each room has a fully finished dormer; which provides an incredible amount of space to retreat to and relax in peace, or for two children to use the space however they like—whether they want to turn it into a play paradise, a sleep cave, or both. Upon request, the colors inside can be changed—from a blue play grotto to a “red light” theme....:-)
Please ask about this, and we’ll be happy to provide you with the control panel.
The attic apartment features a spacious, open-concept design—a skillfully designed home that combines a deep appreciation for tradition with a love for modern living comfort. It’s equipped with an open kitchen and plenty of opportunities to spread out comfortably throughout the space—sitting, reading, eating, and enjoying the atmosphere from every corner.
All the materials used are “natural”; that is, the lounge has been upholstered with springbok hides in our workshop, the rug is made of long-pile, pure sheep’s wool, the small cabinets are old, original carved or painted farmhouse cabinets, and the antique grandfather clock is ticking. The lighting in all rooms can be adjusted to suit your mood.
The kitchen is brand-new and equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic cooktop, and oven. The apartment is generally stocked with basic amenities such as shower gel, bed linens, spices, etc. You don’t have to worry about a thing—the beds will be freshly made for you upon your arrival. A 55-inch flat-screen TV with Magenta Home and Smart TV, featuring 1,000 music channels, all digital;
features (Netflix and Amazon Prime) will keep you entertained on rainy days
You can enjoy the morning sun on the balcony until around 3:00 p.m., perfect for having breakfast on the balcony or watching the sun set behind the mountains in the evening with a glass of wine.
The lake is just a 3-minute drive away; 10 minutes by bike, or the bus that stops right in front of the house also goes directly to the lake. (Please check the schedule after the pandemic.)
