Great location. Beautiful home and layout of rooms. Kitchen backyard doors have a great view of the welcoming backyard. Would definitely recommend to others.

The home has a lot of potential, and you can tell the owners are working to update the property. We enjoyed the pool and the location worked well for our group.However, there were several cleanliness and maintenance concerns that affected our stay, especially for the price. We found mouse droppings in drawers and the guest bathroom shower had mildew and chipping paint. The owner did say that the furniture where we found the droppings were from another home that they picked up from a yard sale. We did not notice any mice present. Some cookware and glasses were dirty upon arrival, and several fixtures and furniture pieces needed repair.The converted garage bedroom especially did not feel fully finished, and the TV in that room did not work during our stay. We also would have appreciated more towels, pillows, and basic bedding protections.Overall, the house has good potential, but it still needs additional cleaning, maintenance, and updates to fully match expectations.

Awfully Disappointing and UnderwhelmingWe came to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation and unfortunately this property made that very difficult.Cleanliness was a major issue — mildew in the kitchen and showers, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and visible moisture damage throughout. The floorboards were peeling back, indicating a long-term moisture problem that also appeared to be contributing to allergy symptoms in our entire group. The kitchen lacked basics like a cutting board, scissors, and a sheet pan. Knives were rusted, and the large kitchen knife had a white substance growing from the handle. Gnats were present throughout the house.Maintenance issues included a wobbling toilet, loose sinks, and unstable oven and microwave doors. The guest room blanket had a strong foul odor. No iron, ironing board, or standard TV service was available.Most concerning, the property owner entered the home unannounced while members of our group were getting dressed — completely unacceptable.The backyard patio and the living and dining rooms were the highlights and matched the listing photos well.This property needs serious attention before hosting guests again. Future renters have been properly notified.

Our stay was great just a couple minor cosmetic things in the house that might need some updating. The neighborhood was nice and safe. There was a Wal-mart close by. The beach is about 20 min away. The host was great and responded back quickly.
