The Bayley Hazen Farm Guest House is located on a private 210-acre tree farm with panoramic views of Mount Mansfield and Camel's Hump. This mid-century modern, 3-bedroom chalet guest house offers trail access, proximity to Caspian Lake and Craftsbury. The open living has floor-to-ceiling windows that capture Vermont's famous golden hour. Whether you are here for ski in/ski out nordic skiing, alpine skiing at nearby Stowe, Burke, or Jay Peak or a quiet summer afternoon fly-fishing in our trout pond, this home serves as your pristine basecamp.

+ Winter: Ski-in/ski-out access to the nordic connector trails for Greensboro and Craftsbury.
+ Spring: Prime trout fishing in our stocked private pond and mountain streams as the forest wakes up.
+ Summer: Swim in our crystal-clear spring-fed pond or sail on nearby Caspian Lake.

We had a wonderful time staying at the guest house. We really enjoyed our night walks around the pond listening to the frogs and looking for fish, then we would watch the sunset over the mountains from the big windows in the house. Everything was well organized, neat, and clean, the beds were comfy and the hosts were extra accommodating. We loved the location with the Craftsbury general store (the Genny), the many farm stands, Front Seat Coffee for breakfast sandwiches, big breakfasts at the Village Restaurant in Hardwick, Two sons bakehouse in Hyde Park for bagel sandwiches and yummy desserts. We stopped at Caspian Lake beach and then Miller's Thumb Gallery that had beautiful art art for sale. We had a relaxing stay at this gorgeous property.

We had a fabulous stay here! The views are incredible, and it’s so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. It’s not far from the LVRT and Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Caspian Lake. Would definitely stay again.

I am a 4th generation Greensboro resident. After 30 years living in Boston and visiting Greensboro, we now live full time at the Bayley Hazen Farm. Our family has enjoyed 120 summers on Caspian Lake. We are now happy to make the guest house available for guests!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The guest house is a 3-bedroom mid-century modern ski house nestled within our 210-acre tree farm property. My grandparents purchased the property in the 1950s and built the home in the early 1960s. We are located on the Craftsbury Road a few miles north of Greensboro village and the Highland Lodge, and just three miles from Craftsbury Village. We are on the connector trails between Greensboro and Craftsbury. Guests can experience ski-in/ski-out nordic skiing, hiking, biking, fly fishing and expansive views in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

As a part of the Tree Farm program, we are committed to sustainably managing our forest and meadows for wood, water, wildlife, and recreation. Because we sit at the headwaters of the Black River Watershed, guests enjoy a pristine pond and fresh spring water. We are also located on a vital east-west wildlife migration path, making sightings a common treat.
