We had a fabulous visit. Great well-stocked kitchen, comfortable spaces, cool furnishings. The house is perfectly sited to enjoy this beautiful area. And, it's a nice place to come back to, especially swimming in the pond after a bike ride.

We had a fabulous stay here! The views are incredible, and it’s so peaceful and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. It’s not far from the LVRT and Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Caspian Lake. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time staying at the guest house. We really enjoyed our night walks around the pond listening to the frogs and looking for fish, then we would watch the sunset over the mountains from the big windows in the house. Everything was well organized, neat, and clean, the beds were comfy and the hosts were extra accommodating. We loved the location with the Craftsbury general store (the Genny), the many farm stands, Front Seat Coffee for breakfast sandwiches, big breakfasts at the Village Restaurant in Hardwick, Two sons bakehouse in Hyde Park for bagel sandwiches and yummy desserts. We stopped at Caspian Lake beach and then Miller's Thumb Gallery that had beautiful art art for sale. We had a relaxing stay at this gorgeous property.

Stunning property on a hill with views on the mountains, private pond with an access to swimming, and a wood burning jacuzzi. The property is secluded, Away from the main road. The owners live next door but in a good distance from the rental place.Had an amazing time with friends and my dog.

Incredible views, trails, pond and fields. Caspian lake and MVCC right down the road. The Genny and Craftsbury right down the road!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The guest house is a 3-bedroom mid-century modern ski house nestled within our 210-acre tree farm property. My grandparents purchased the property in the 1950s and built the home in the early 1960s. We are located on the Craftsbury Road a few miles north of Greensboro village and the Highland Lodge, and just three miles from Craftsbury Village. We are on the connector trails between Greensboro and Craftsbury. Guests can experience ski-in/ski-out nordic skiing, hiking, biking, fly fishing and expansive views in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

As a part of the Tree Farm program, we are committed to sustainably managing our forest and meadows for wood, water, wildlife, and recreation. Because we sit at the headwaters of the Black River Watershed, guests enjoy a pristine pond and fresh spring water. We are also located on a vital east-west wildlife migration path, making sightings a common treat.
