Sun, sea and solitude. Monterey Dunes Colony vacation townhomes are stretched out over a mile of secluded beachfront. Each home has a boardwalk to the beach where you can walk, play, fish, build a sandcastle—or just do nothing. Common area amenities include a swimming pool (April - October) and hot tub; tennis, basketball, volleyball and bocce ball courts and a golf driving cage. Located a few minutes from Moss Landing, Monterey Dunes is 18 miles north of Monterey and nine miles south of Watsonville. Three bedrooms (King, 2 Queen beds) and two baths. The Monterey Dunes Colony is a gated enclave of beachfront vacation homes between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Located near the quaint harbor town of Moss Landing, these properties enjoy a mile of secluded beachfront and numerous outdoor amenities.

Great location on the beach near Monterrey. Very well stocked in the kitchen, plus lots of towels and blankets. The view out the window at sunset is fabulous.

Fantastic location on a remote beach, with beach access just steps away. It's a big condo with two big king bedrooms. The third smaller bedroom is off the kitchen and a little noisy. It needs a screen door on the sliding glass door to get ventilation. The living and dining rooms are also big and the kitchen is a good size too.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this home mainly due to the access to the beach and the view. The location is nice with easy access to both Monterey and Santa Cruz. In general you can tell the home was once well loved but now is needing a some TLC. A few items of note - the screens on the sliding doors are either torn or missing entirely, the home needs a thorough deep cleaning including stains on furniture and walls, the window in the hall bath isn’t functioning and is stuck partially open at the top and numerous small items like towel racks etc are loose or coming off walls. With a little TLC it could be lovely again.

We truly appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize that the unit fell short of expectations. You’re absolutely right that it needs some TLC. We’ve already notified the HOA about the missing screens and jammed window, scheduled a deep cleaning, and arranged for a handyman to touch up the walls and take care of the loose hardware. We’re grateful you brought these issues to our attention and are committed to making the space more comfortable for future guests. We hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to welcome you back and enjoy this beautiful beachfront location.
