This beautiful home boasts a truly unique and incredible setting just off the famous M-22, situated on its own private peninsula surrounded by mature oak trees. With over 250 feet of private, direct waterfront, guests enjoy a secluded lakeside oasis like no other. The shoreline changes from season to season as water levels rise and fall; this year, the beach is fairly rocky, so we recommend bringing water shoes. A well-maintained dock features a sitting area at the end and a ladder for easy swimming access. Nearly every room in the home showcases water views, and the waterside decks provide some of the most expansive, breathtaking views of West Bay you’ll find anywhere.
Conveniently located, the home is just 5 minutes from downtown Traverse City and 12 minutes from Suttons Bay, making it easy to pop into town for restaurants, shopping, wineries, breweries, or evening entertainment.

Main Level
The main floor features hardwood flooring and large windows that fill the living and dining areas with natural light and panoramic water views. The tiled entry leads into a spacious kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and a large island with seating for six. From here, step directly onto the main-level deck to enjoy outdoor dining or a peaceful morning coffee.

Upper Level
Upstairs, you’ll find:
• Primary Suite: King bed with stunning water views and private deck with seating for two.
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed and dresser.
• Bedroom 3: Two twin bunk beds and a large shelved closet with dresser.
A shared full bathroom includes double sinks, a shower, and a tub. The laundry area is also conveniently located on this level.

Lower Level
The walk-out lower level offers a newly carpeted, spacious area perfect for extra sleeping space and a cozy TV nook ideal for kids. This level includes:
• Additional sleeping arrangements: queen bed, bunk bed with a full on bottom, and a fold-out couch
• Full bathroom with double sinks and water views
• Double sliding doors that open onto the lower deck with plenty of room to unwind

Outdoor Living
The main-level deck provides seating for everyone, with wide steps leading to the lower deck and grilling area—equipped with both Weber gas and charcoal grills. The beach area includes multiple chairs for lounging and ample space to play. Several kayaks are available for guest use, making it easy to explore the water at your leisure.

Please note that the home accommodates up to 8 adults (an additional two children under the age of 5 may also stay for no additional costs).

This home is perfectly located to maximize exploration of the Traverse City area. The view is absolutely amazing. The sunrises were breathtaking. Listening to the water was relaxing and just what we needed to rejuvenate.

Great spot to stay, the family truly enjoyed. House overall was spacious and clean. There were some bugs as noted in other reviews but this is typical for lakefront, and didn't view it as a detractor. Have been coming up for multiple years and one of my favorite places the family has stayed, hosts were great.

Great views and location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is well maintained and has everything you need. The location was great and near Traverse City which we wanted. The back deck views are amazing and the best part of each morning as we watched the sunrise.

Lovely escape

Property was lovely & peaceful but also near enough to Traverse city . Everything very clean & comfortably slept our group of 10.. kids enjoyed jumping in the cold lake & kayaking ... adults enjoyed the spacious deck ... would certainly come back :) thank you

Wonderful location and view, but the kitchen was infested with flies

Booked the place for a long weekend with our family of 5. View and location was wonderful, ample room for all. Cleanliness was not up to our standards, however, particularly in the kitchen and one of the bed sheets appeared not to have been washed. What was the most disappointing however, was the fruit/crop flies in the kitchen. We are michiganders and are used to bugs however the kitchen was infested. We had a difficult time cooking and eating because of them. My kids were very happy to return home. Sadly cannot recommend this rental unless that issue can be addressed.

Fantastic Lakefront House!

This house was the perfect spot for our stay in Traverse City with friends! We had plenty of room to spread out for relaxing and for remote working! We loved swimming from the dock and hanging out on the back patio. Thank you for a great week!

Gorgeous place with amazing views

My dad, sister and I returned to Traverse City where we grew up having a cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were stunning, there was ample space and everything was extremely well appointed and comfortable. Communication with Meagan, the owner, was prompt. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing location

Best location to everywhere you want to go! We did wine tastings, beach in downtown Traverse, Sutton Bay, Fishtown, very good location! The views were absolutely stunning! We had two families and only two bathrooms was though but we made it work. They didn’t have the home cleaned when we checked in but Meagan (host) was very responsive and also asked if she could buy us dinner. Very gracious! Didn’t bother us much as we just went to dinner down the street. The main thing was the kitchen, not very clean and there was a significant amount of fruit flies that we couldn’t get rid of no matter what we did. There were water bugs that came in as soon as you open the door too. The kids loved playing in the water and the tree house! Overall we had a nice stay! Thank you again Meagan!

Wonderful Home!

We stayed for 5 days over Labor Day weekend. The setting is beautiful, right in the water. Enjoyed the sunrises in the morning and the stars at night. The home has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has every pot, pan or utensil you could possibly need and there was an incredible supply of dishwasher pods, washing machine supplies, trash bags, cleaning products and extra paper products. We were very impressed.

Summer Vacation

I’ll start and say like the previous renters the view and location are wonderful. However, from the moment we arrived at the property we were disappointed in the upkeep - or lack there of - of the yard and back patio. The pictures in the listing do not properly reflect the outside of the property. There is overgrowth of weeds obstructing the view that is not shown in the listing. Random piles of sticks throughout the lawn. The deck is falling apart with chipped paint. The patio furniture is also different from the listing with chipped paint and missing cushions. There are weeds everywhere and even growing up through the deck boards. I even started to pick the weeds they were so distracting, just what one wants to do on vacation. The lower deck has not been cared for either with dirty furniture and spiderwebs everywhere. Like the previous renter stated they are even spiderwebs on the chandeliers in the master bathroom. I have stayed at multiple vrbos at this price point and they have been immaculate, as they should be. We also had an incident that was disappointing during our stay. While out one day the cleaning ladies randomly entered our property thinking we had checked out. Not sure how that happened. They moved our delicates in the washer into the dryer (ruining clothes) and threw away some of our food in the kitchen! Then even put a dirty wine glass back into the cupboard. They then realized guests were still occupying the residence and left immediately, leaving all of their cleaning materials throughout the house and bedsheets in the hallway. It was a mess when we returned. Meagan, the property owner, would take days to respond to phone calls and text messages. When we were able to speak with her she was able to resolve our issues. I would not stay at this property again.

Location, Location, Location

What beautiful views from this home. We truly enjoyed our week and would definitely come again. It is spacious, the kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds and lots of linens and towels. My only complaint is the condition of the deck. I spent over an hour cleaning both the deck and the furniture on the deck. Lower deck needs furniture replaced. I also think the windows should be part of the cleaning.

Family Vacation

The location was great. The views spectacular! The house was comfortable, spacious, and met the needs of our family. There were plenty of spaces for us to gather together and also spaces for privacy and time apart. We enjoyed climbing on the rocks and kayaking. There was some lack of maintenance on the property. The deck is in need of paint, the landscaping was not well maintained, there were cobwebs on the chandeliers, the doors had dirt smudges that could have been easily wiped off, the upper level air conditioner began to drip on the morning we departed, and the lighting in the lower level bedroom was problematic. Most of these issues did not interfere with our comfort during our stay but were disappointing for the price of the stay.

Memorial weekend with Family

This large home with an incredible lake view was perfect for our family to gather. The logistics for some family to participate in Bay Shore Marathon was excellent. With adults, teens, & children we had a variety of day trips. Gorgeous sunrises and plenty of indoor & outdoor space to play and relax.

Perfect Reunion spot

The house was just the perfect size and layout for our group of women converging from all across the country. The home has ample room to hang out. Whether it’s on the beautiful lakeside deck, the large and comfortable living room or the open kitchen we found great spaces to gather, eat, enjoy cocktails or laughs. Everyone commented on the comfortable beds. And the number of beds worked great for us. We definitely would return. Thank you.

Beautiful house right on the water

My two best friends and I were up for a wedding and decided to rent this house for a long weekend. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake from almost every window. House was extremely clean and well-kept but dated in spots. The only real complaint is the lack of address and/or signage at the top of the driveway on the road. Not only did we have trouble finding it initially but also every time we came home in the dark. Not to mention our Uber driver said it wasn’t even listed, and almost canceled our Uber due to not being able to find the house. I feel like posting a reflective address or even some type of signage would be incredibly helpful! Other than that, due to a medical emergency our stay was shortened, but we definitely plan on coming up again next year and hopefully staying in the same house! I would give it a rating of 4 1/2 stars all around!

Beautiful home without sandy beach

My top priority for a vacation rental was a sandy beachfront for our kids to play. We were disappointed when we arrived and found no sandy beach area for the little ones. Other than that, the house is beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation with 4 little ones. Absolutely beautiful views, nice layout and great location.
