Welcome to "Almost Heaven," an exquisite 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom plus 2 half baths retreat situated in the heart of the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. This luxurious 3,315-square-foot home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests, making it the perfect destination for families and groups seeking both adventure and relaxation.

Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind, featuring king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms, and contemporary furnishings.
The great room serves as a stunning centerpiece with its double-sided stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings, and a large flat-screen TV, creating a cozy yet grand atmosphere ideal for gatherings.
The fully equipped kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar, providing everything you need to craft gourmet meals.

For entertainment, the home offers a game area with a pool table and a multicade, ensuring endless enjoyment for both children and adults. Great location and amenities. If you want to see bear, this is the place. We saw them everyday during our stay. The layout was great and everyone had fun.

Fabulous family vacation home.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. It was perfect for us. The game room, hot tub and sauna being right at the house was great. The indoor pool was too cold for us but the outdoor pool was just steps away!

This place is so beautiful and clean. We did not want to leave! The back porch has a beautiful view fireplaces are double sided we used it one night out on the porch while we sat outside to eat dinner. This place has so much to offer we love both pools and hot tub. Feels like you are hidden away from everything but you are just minutes away from Gatlinburg . We seen bears 2 times a mother and 3 cubs! We loved seeing them, they were at the entrance to the resort not by our cabin. Glad we stayed here lives up to the name almost heaven. Hope to return again!

We really enjoyed the property. We liked that it was outside the hustle of Downtown Gatlinburg and had enough amenities to keep our crew occupied on rainy days. Liked the open concept for cooking and Interacting. There aren’t many kitchen staples in the house (like coffee filters, adequate trashbags, dishwasher soap, cooking oils etc), but the grocery store is very convenient.

The only complaint is that we had a large black bear that appeared two of the three days we were there. The bear came behind our house, sat beside our deck, and then lumbered across the street, sniffed all cars and disappeared behind the house across our street. Bear repeated the next day. Limited our children and dog's outside activities. We were nervous about the outside hot tub and sauna because they are located on the bottom deck, and could accessed by said bear.

Seeing a black bear can certainly be an exciting—and sometimes unexpected—part of visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. While bear sightings are not uncommon in the area, we understand that having one visit so close can bring out the protective instincts, especially when traveling with children and pets. We always encourage guests to remain wildlife-aware, keep a safe distance, and avoid leaving food or scented items outdoors. Fortunately, black bears are typically interested in easy food sources rather than people, but we encourage all guests to be aware of their surroundings and to give bears the right of way. Most often, they are simply passing through and do not linger for long. Thank you again for your feedback. We certainly understand wildlife encounters are not everyone's favorite part of the mountain experience. Bear activity tends to be lower during the late fall and winter months, making those seasons a great option for guests who would like to enjoy the beauty of the mountains with a reduced chance of wildlife encounters. We hope your next visit exceeds all expectations!

This house was a glorious blessing to all of us!!! It has so many amenities that if the weather is bad or you do not feel like going out you can swim, hit the hot tub, relax in the sauna, watch a movie in the theater room or rock in the rockers by the fireplace and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The adults and kiddos loved playing in the game room and we were able to have food delivered and fit the whole family around the table. It was well worth it!!! Thank YOU 365

Great family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay except for all the rain! We were sitting at the table playing games on our first night. It was raining pretty hard for a long period of time and the roof started leaking. It started dripping in 3 spots. We had to put pots under it and towels. Called the next morning and they sent somebody out although we were not there at the time. They left a bigger bucket and peeled off the ceiling plaster. Not sure if it was repaired. It dripped again the next night but the bucket caught the water. Despite all this we still had a great time and enjoyed all the visits from the bears. The place was clean. The main floor bedroom stayed a little warmer than the rest of the house, but the fan helped. It would be nice to have soap dishes for the bars of soap. We ended up buying pump soaps for each bathroom. The location is great, not far up the mountain and close to everything. The pool was nice. We never used most of the amenities at the house because we were gone most of the time. Overall a great place to stay!
