Best of all: You don’t have to clean before you leave! Just drop the trash in the bathroom trash and *thats it*! Oh and there’s FREE private carport parking! Just down the steps from that is the private entrance!

If you’re looking for a quiet, hidden away DC gem, book now!

The space
We have a washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. While there is not a full kitchen, there is a microwave, crock pot, and air fryer. We also have a water filter on the faucet. The coffee maker also has a separate section for boiling water!

If you have a third person or need a second bed, let us know! We have an extra mattress! The unit is on the smaller side and may not be 100% perfect for families, but we are willing to host you, if you’d like!

There is a strict no smoking policy with a starting fee of $500 for evidence of smoking inside the unit, including but not limited to: tampering with the smoke detector, noticeable smell of smoke, discoloration on walls, burn marks, etc. Guests are welcome to smoke outside the unit in the backyard, side yard, or front yard.

While parking is free and on-property, if you have a larger vehicle, it might be best to park on the street in front of the house. It’s free too! From December-February the alley sometimes has snow and ice so use your discretion and be safe! Again, street parking is free!

Guest access
If booked for Monday-Thursday, check-in will most likely be after 7:30 pm as we will have to thoroughly clean from previous night’s guest. Thanks so much!

Other things to note
Cleaning is performed in between stays with Lysol, Windex, Clorox wipes, and Dawn dish soap. Items cleaned include (but not limited to):
- inside and out refrigerator
- inside and out microwave
- all bathroom surfaces (yes including walls)
- dining table and chair
- bar
- sheets, pillows, towels, and wash cloths washed with Oxiclean & detergent
- floors vacuumed and mopped (where applicable)

Hosts are very friendly. Very responsive and quick to fix the hot water heater when it went out. The bed is very firm. If you like it firm then this is the bed for you. The shower has been updated with several different settings. It is located in an older neighborhood and close to public transportation.

It was a cozy space, and the bed was comfortable. We had an issue where there was only half a roll of toilet paper, and the host did not respond when I confirmed that there was none to be found. They said they restocked prior to the previous guest, but it would be beneficial to check the stock between each guest, as there was none at all under the sink. The coffee provided was not compatible with the coffeemaker provided, and tasted terrible. There was one mug, which we took turns using, and one bowl, which we did not need.
