This was a wonderful little apartment. Very quiet, clean, almost every amenity was provided. Hosts were sweet and kind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Musty air, cobwebs bug and mosquito filled basement turned living space. Slippery bathroom with an untidy sight. Worst of, we could literally hear the noises and steps by the hostess and her family. We understand that kids are very active, however it was constant and very unnerving.

Great place to stay while we went to a five day conference

Great place to stay while in DC, very centrally located. Awesome hosts. really made our conference very easy to get to and experience all of Washington DC.

Great place

Great place to stay. Centrally located. Bus was just down the block and you could travel anywhere from there. Host and hostess are great people and will to help with whatever is needed.

Touring DC and the Museums

Our Vrbo stay was perfect for us. We wanted a quiet place to come back to after a busy day out being a tourist. Our hosts were very friendly and prompt with answering any questions we had. Everything was organized and thoughtfully available for use. We will definitely try to rebook if we are ever back in town again.

Private studio in lovely neighborhood!

This private studio was perfect for my husband and me on our vacation! It’s in a nice neighborhood in close proximity to all the main DC attractions. The property description is accurate and the hosts checked in with us via message to see if we needed anything. They also sent us some great food recommendations :)

Great, quiet option in DC

Very nice room for a visit to DC. Set in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to public transportation. The room itself was private and has everything you need. No cable or satellite tv, just antenna -- but you should be out experiencing DC anyway!

When we walked in, were a little surprised on how inviting the place was. The convenience of the mini kitchen area and living room section, made it feel like home. The owners were wonderful, showing us around the 1st night and checking in on us a few days later, ensuring we were still doing fine. The place had total privacy and I was extremely satisfied with my entire stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are visiting in Washington, DC.

We needed budget accommodation and this worked for us.

Our host was very honest in his description of the home and we appreciated that. For instance, his two toddlers sometimes run across the floor above us and we did hear this. Cute really and we did meet the youngsters. Our host was helpful with details and that maximised our stay and crucially, the best cafe near by. If you can’t afford Washington hotel prices, this Studio room might work for you.

Perfect for a few nights in DC

Spent 6 nights at this we'll equipt apartment. Everything we needed. A few patters of tiny feet from the house but overall very quiet. Great neighbourhood for food choices and access to bus and metro. Also, always space for on street car parking. We'll most definitely be back next time we're in DC.

Place was great, but people need to be aware that this is a basement dwelling and that you can hear every footstep, conversation, and noise going on in the floor above. I would recommend leaving earplugs for guests, or even a portable fan for noise. It is very difficult to sleep past 7 AM.

I was pleased with overall condtItions about this place. The only time I spent there was overnight and I did not have time to use other things like TV, microwave oven and so on. The only downside I think of was finding a parking space in the area but I managed it alright. I would go back if I have another trip back to DC.

A decent stay

Overall a very well stay. The place was very clean, organized, and private. Only complaint is that the room is under the hosts’ home and you can hear them moving around early in the morning. My partner was woken up early each morning with a child running around the home above. Just be aware for future guests if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, it was a great place to relax after a long day visiting DC/ surrounding areas.

Weekend in DC

The studio was exactly as advertised. I did have 3 issues: 1) the bed was to firm and unfortunately the host did not have an egg crate to use 2) my wife did not like the shower 3) while I was aware hosts lived above I wasn’t expecting to be awakened by a screaming infant who then ran heavy stepping through the entire upstairs as early as 7:40

Meets your needs!

The property is exactly how it is pictured. The owners's description is right on about all aspects of the studio apartment. Teodora and her husband are very helpful and quick to reply (we locked ourselves out, and we were back in within minutes) always willing to help make our stay great! It is a short walk to the bus stop, and the neighborhood feels safe; on top of all that, you can't beat free parking! Most important to me, it is clean and well taken care of. This is a great option for your stay in DC!

Room was situated in a lower level which felt like a dusty basement. My wife is allergic to extreme dust and she had a severe reaction all over her body. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The renter of this studio lives above with children so it was very loud with stomping, crying and running around. She states this in the description but it definitely makes it worse as the conditions of this place are poor. The train station is NOT close. It’s a 20 minute walk. Good thing I had a vehicle to get me around. Please read into this place before booking it. It won’t be ideal for most.

Diese Unterkunft hat in keiner Weise den Fotos entsprochen. Es war ein abgehalftertes Kellerloch bei Privatleuten mit Klo im Wandschrank. Absoluter Betrug und ich renne nun bei Expedia seit Wochen dem Geld hinterher.

DC Weekend

Easy to access - well stocked with everything we needed

This is a basement property. It is very well appointed, with access to microwave, refrigerator, glasses and dishes, and even a washer and dryer. Keyless access so that we could drop off luggage upon arrival without arranging time/access with owner. Very nice rental option.

Perfect studio apt outside of downtown D.C.

Studio apt located in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. Perfect 4 a couple or small family. Close 2 bus & metro lines, w easy & quick access 2 downtown. Apt had everything we needed, including a washer & dryer! Very clean & well kept, w responsive owners who live upstairs in the home. We plan another visit 2 D.C. & will definitely stay here again.
