If you come you will know why we chose this property, but if you need convincing, it is one of the only properties in Breckenridge that survived a fire in the late 1800s. While it is not entirely original, a large addition was done in the 80s, it was very tastefully done without destroying the character of the historic portion, as vouched for by our historic landmark status. We have some of the most unique perennial gardens in Breckenridge with the warmth of downtown sheltering some very unique plants that grow no where else, that we know of, in summit county.
The Loft is 3 blocks from the ski lift where my children learned to ski. While the lift does access one of the best beginner areas in the west, it also drops you in an area where you can easily take the cross mountain express to very advanced terrain.
The Loft is very special. It has a very unique history, dating back to the gold rush and the people who have owned it through the years have done great things for the the town and history of Breckenridge!
