The Space:

Located on the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, this home lives up to its name. This stunning five-bedroom, three-bathroom residence will leave you breathless as you immediately see floor to ceiling windows once upstairs. On the first floor is a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed and an ensuite half-bath. A sitting area and access to the large deck is immediately off this room. Heading upstairs, you'll find the main living area. This spacious, open floor houses two living and dining areas, the kitchen, laundry, and master suite. The colors bring the outside in, with neutral furnishings offering plenty of seating against blue walls. In the Florida room, the sofa stands out with a pop of red. A fully equipped kitchen offers sleek counters and appliances, perfect for prepping and storing meals. Outside, dine with views of the sound. Back inside and through the common area is another guest bedroom featuring a king-size bed and private balcony. This bedroom shares a large bathroom with the main area. On the top floor, you'll find the remaining three bedrooms, with the guest bedroom to the right offering an ensuite bath. This bedroom also features a king-size bed, along with a daybed with a trundle underneath. The fourth guest room has two twin beds and access to the third-floor balcony. Walking outside and taking in the views, the master bedroom can be accessed through two sets of sliding doors. This luxurious suite offers plenty of quiet, with a king-size bed and sitting area.

Great vacation

This location is great. The beach and shallow water was perfect for our young grand babies. My only problem was there were no hot pads in the kitchen and cleaning rags

Great place

The house was perfect. Plenty of space for our vacation! We had 5 adults & 5 kids. The large windows & view was amazing & made our stay. Kitchen is well stocked besides no pizza cutter which isn’t a big deal. The patio door was extremely hard to open & shut, so much that the kids all needed help with it when going in & out. It also was extremely hard to lock & most of the time didn’t lock at all. Overall the house was amazing, we would definitely go back!

New Years Week

We had a great time. It is a beautiful house in great location. It was pretty chilly the week we were there. But the house had plenty of room in the lining room and sunroom for the group to spread out. On days we stayed inside the wall of windows provided a great view of the city water

House with Beach

House was great! Pictures were very accurate. Beach was even better than expected. Sand toys, floats and beach chairs were great! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking/eating essentials. Bathrooms and bedrooms were as well. We were a little disappointed that the grill didn’t have propane to cook the burgers we bought (thinking it would be ready to use) but a ready to go propane tank wasn’t in the house amenities so no fault there. This has been the first house we’ve rented without a back up so that will be a check in future rentals for sure. We had a few issues (toilet that didn’t flush and garbage overflowing garbage cans at check in) that took a few days to get addressed. The negatives did not put way the positives but did want to make sure to provide honest feedback for both the owner and property management group.

Appreciated the communication before checking in, during checking in, during visit and prior to checking out and after checking out. The property was excellent! Especially for a large family.

Inspections ruined our vacation

We were told that several inspections would be happening and it was non-negotiable. The inspections lasted from 10 am - 5pm. After the inspections the 2nd floor had multiple electrical issues and maintenance was unable to repair. We spent the last two days without power and received a $200 credit which we felt should have at least equal to one day but Vacasa did not care enough to resolve. So we feel obligated our voice our frustration.

Excellent Stay

This property is wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. Perfect location with a nice sand beach. Outdoor areas are relaxing! The property management was very helpful and responsive. They checked with us shortly after check in to make sure everything was fine. We experienced only a couple small issues that did not require a negative review or star reduction. We could not find the remote for the television in the master bedroom and one of the two sinks in the master did not have hot or cold water - I cannot remember which one. This did not negatively impact our stay.. Vacasa offered to send over maintenance but we declined as it was not significant. Make sure you follow the rules of the homeowners association, we had an off-site wedding on Saturday night and cleaned up on Sunday. We brought the tables and chairs we rented back to the property to store in the garage until the rental company opened on Monday. As soon as we drove down the road with tables and chairs, two of the homeowners came down to make sure were not having a party as it is not allowed in this subdivision. The property manager, Vacasa, was very good at handling the situation and they defended me as the renter. I was really impressed with the property management and the property itself. I would rent here again.

No place like it.

Whatever your expectations are for this home double them. Once inside you might think you’re in a big house boat, with extreme stability, based on the view from the windows. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy. It’s rare I’m not chomping at the bit to get home once a vacation is over, but I was actually sad to leave this house. The beach outside of the home is large and calm. It moves back and forth freely so it is never stagnant. It’s shallow past the dock so there is a large area for the youngers to swim safely. I have to throw a shout out to Vacasa, who handled the rental, while I’m here. We had an electrical problem. They sent someone over promptly and the guy just would not give up on solving the problem for us. He did succeed in solving the problem. My whole family loved the guy for his persistence. One tip…as with any property there were little things here and there that I would have liked to be done differently so I’m going to give a little advice here to give a fix. Get your own two ply toilet paper and paper towels. The bedroom in the main floor is probably the least comfortable out of all of them. Spend 15 bucks on an egg crate, open up that balcony door for a nice evening breeze, grab a pillow from the master upstairs (they’re just better up there), and it’s as good as the rest of the bedrooms. Thanks to the owners for making this property available to the traveling Texas family who will go anywhere to spend time with their Navy son. We were grateful to be here.

Peaceful, Relaxing Stay

Very peaceful and relaxing stay at Peace of Paradise during the first week of November 2021. The home was as pictured and described online with a few updates from the photos. The table near the large window wall overlooking the water was a great spot for early morning coffee and dolphin watching in the bay. The master bed was very comfortable, water pressure very good and the home was spotless. It was too cold for us to go into the water but we really enjoyed sitting on the patio and the dock to watch the dolphins during the day and the beautiful sunsets. The dock appears to be new. We ate out every meal, but the kitchen appeared to be stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils and dishes needed to prepare meals. The Vacasa office on the island checked with us several times during our stay to make sure everything was perfect - and it was! Thanks to the homeowners for sharing their wonderful home with us. We have already recommended this home to others and would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Beautiful for making memories

We had a wonderful stay. We rented this property for our grandson's first beach trip. Being so little we wanted a place that was right on the beach. Being on the sound was so peaceful and convenient. We had a private beach, dock, kayaks and saw dolphins every day. We will most definitely be back.

Our Favorite Place!

We had another fantastic vacation at Peace of Paradise this year! We were so glad to be back after having to miss our family vacation in 2020 due to the pandemic! This is our absolute favorite vacation spot and I cannot recommend it enough. It is wonderful location for families with young children. The house comes with every amenity you could possibly need from beach chairs to umbrellas to sea kayaks to sand toys! The private beach and bay are perfect for little kiddos as it makes going to the beach so much easier! No dragging tons of stuff back and forth since all you have to do is step outside and you are on the beach! And if someone gets tired or needs a break, you are 2 steps away from the house. The perfect setup! The house has tons of space and everything is very well kept and clean. And you cannot beat the views from the sunroom! We will be coming back to Peace of Paradise every year as long as it is available! Thank you for another wonderful stay!!

Exceeded our expectations

This house had everything we wanted sand more. The name says it all, “Piece of Paradise”. The locations is perfect, right on the sound with a private beach and fishing pier and spectacular views of the sunsets and more. The beach is a short 10min walk away. The house is spacious, well maintained with every amenity needed including kayaks, beach toys, toys and umbrellas and more. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms roomy with adequate counter space around the sink. The kitchen was fully stocked and a gas grill outside, so we cooked most meals. There was nothing lacking and we had an amazing time. Hope to be back soon.

This property has something for everyone - sun, sand, water, shade, outdoor dining. Fully equipped and clean, it has also had several improvements that are not reflected in the photos. We’ve already booked our trip to come back in the fall!

A/C not working-no one would answer my calls or text or emails

Beautiful property. Recommend staying there. A/C was out and it got 78 degrees inside. If property manager had returned any of my texts or emails or voice mails the A/C would have been fixed without a 2 day delay. After A/C was repaired the remainder of our visit was great.

Peace of Paradise Indeed!!

Peace of Paradise is just that - paradise!! We loved everything about this house and the property! It is absolutely PERFECT for families. The owners have truly thought of everything to the point where you honestly do not need to bring anything with you except your clothes! There are tons of floats, chairs (even kid sized chairs!), umbrellas, etc. The private beach is AMAZING and so relaxing! It was so wonderful being able to step outside and be right on the beach! The bay side is perfect for small children (we have a 2 year old) - much easier than worrying about the waves on the gulf side! The house itself is beautiful and the view from the front sunroom is INCREDIBLE! There is a neat TV room downstairs that has a garage door that opens up to face the beach - perfect for watching football or for anyone who wants a break from the sun but still wants to be close to everyone. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. If you are looking for a house that is at all, Peace of Paradise is it! I cannot recommend it enough!

This was the best choice I could've made for Navarre!

In this case the house was truly an exact match to the photos and what you could've expected. This house honestly made it harder for me to want to wanna stay on the gulf side in the future again, its overrated! This home was amazing, comfortable, private, clean, HUGE, bright, fun. Having your own private little beach to the bay was the best. Waking up early and seeing the water look like silk was amazing. Dolphins cross by the docks early in the morning I got the chance to be floating when one passed close to me :) The home offered kayaks, floats, chairs, bicycles, two refrigerators downstairs for when you are outside, we used everything this house couldve offered. Our kids enjoyed being able to wake up and immediately be able to get in the water and play, not having to worry about the roughness of water, or flags, or anything of the sort. Hanging out on the dock at night listening to music was awesome. Sunsets are indescribable. I can't say enough about this house...the actual beach on the gulf side is a short walk away, you get to walk past the pretty neighborhood, cross the street, and you're there, but, out of the 4 days we were there , we went to the beach ONCE, we just wanted to stay at the house! it honestly doesn't even compare to staying at a condo in a high rise, at all. Im not sure if we will return to Navarre but if we do , I'll be looking for this house again.

Location! Location!! Location!!!

We cannot say enough about the location of this home!!! Our vacation group consisted of 3 families (6 adults, 8YO, 7YO, 2YO). Loved that there were enough king beds for each of the adult couples and my children stayed in the 'twin bed room'. Plenty of room for all of us and the 2YO stayed in teh 'queen bed room'. The couple w/o kids stayed on the ground level. The only thing is, there 's no shower in that bathroom, but no complaints from them/us on that. On our first full day we went to the beach and the water was a bit rough and not as clear as normal (never seen it like that before), so we stayed there for a little while then headed back to the house where we LOVED hanging out at 'our little beach' the rest of the day and into the evening! Last year we stayed at a home down the street on a canal and enjoyed this house this year much better because of the beachfront behind the house! Our kids loved it because they didn't have to worry about rough waves in the Gulf on the days there was a red flag. We enjoyed the bikes, fishing on the private pier (even though we never caught any fish) and grilling on the back porch. My husband and I have been visiting Navarre Beach at least once a year since 2000, and this house location is the best by far for a family, of any other place we've stayed! We are definitely hoping to stay in this house again for our next family vacation!
