The Space:

Sterling Shores is under renovations for a beautification project. You may see minor construction.



Make the best beach memories at this gorgeous, ninth-floor condo located just steps from the surf and sand. This fully-renovated vacation rental features a well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar that will help make preparing meals a snap. Relax with your morning coffee or dine together out on your private, furnished balcony while you take in the incredibly beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Guests will also enjoy access to a host of deluxe, on-site amenities including a seasonally-heated lagoon pool, fitness room, a seasonal snack shack, and a poolside picnic area with shared gas grills.



WHAT’S NEARBY

Sterling Shores is located off Highway 98, just a short walk from several beach dining experiences including the Pancakery and the Back Porch. If you need to fill your fridge or pick up some extra supplies, this complex is just down the road from grocery and big box stores. For refreshing, all-ages fun, race go-karts at the Track, only a mile away, or check out the water slides at Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, two miles up the road. And if you're looking to hit the links, the fabulous Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club, is just a mile north.

Amazing Getaway

1st time to Destin

We drove down which was about 18 hours...so by the time we arrived we were ready to be settled some. So the check in process made it so nice we just got right to our room. The view was so beautiful and we saw dolphins from our balcony almost everyday there. Was a very clean property and getting to the private beach was even shorter of a walk than we really thought. We did wish the pools were heated as we went a month before they do because the last 2 days were chilly and breezy so that would've been nicer for the kids but still wasn't by any means terrible. Definitely will be back!

Great stay

Everything was great. My only complaint was the fire alarm’s battery was dead and was beeping on entering.And when standing out on the balcony you could smell someone smoking pot all the time. There wasn’t any dishwasher detergent since they ask you load and start the dishwasher during checkout.No laundry detergent either. I stayed in another unit and they were stocked.I couldn’t tell if it was the elevator or not but there was some loud sound at night.Outside of that, we enjoyed our stay. Looking.forward to coming back to Destin.

Oh the view!

907 is a great unit. Clean, comfortable and a great view. We could see schools of fish and dolphins in the gulf. Smokers beware, there is no smoking ANYWHERE on this property. My wife smokes and had to leave the property to smoke. No vaping either. Fortunately the elevators are fast and she only had to walk out the gulf side of the wall where there is a bench and a butt can. She mingled with the other exiled smokers. Just giving you a heads up so you don’t get evicted or fined. There are cameras everywhere. Over all a great place to stay and very family friendly. BTW eat at the back porch! Great food and prices are on par with all the other restaurants.

The room itself was nice! It had everything we needed for our stay. You do cross the street to be on the beach, but it was not a big issue, unless you are carrying a lot of stuff. They do have a ramp for easy access with wagons. The pool was nice! They do have 2 pools on the property. The beach is a very nice beach area! You can’t beat the sand & clear blue water! We brought our own chairs & umbrella. The chairs for rent looked a little unstable & might not fit someone larger. For $50/day, I would want better chairs. The biggest downfall was that only 1 elevator was working for the entire property & this made for a very bad experience. Sometimes waiting 15-20 minutes for an elevator. Being on the 9th floor, we couldn’t just take the stairs. And when you did get in the elevator, it was packed, hot, & stuffy! We found out these elevators had been down for 2 weeks due to having to order parts for it! This is peak season so it really made people upset. We also had a patio door that did not lock & this was a safety concern for us since we have a young child. I called & reported it to Vacasa & was told we would receive a call back shortly from maintenance since it was a safety concern. We never received a callback! We had to improvise & put a table in front of the patio door. We didn’t even receive a follow up call to see if our issue had been resolved. So if you ask me, this property management does not take a safety concerns seriously!
