Check-in Process: did not go smoothly. There was a significant delay in accessing the property which left us outside in the cold, windy weather for 30-35 minutes because the entry codes repeatedly failed. Management company ultimately assisted with entry.Communication: with owner, connected via VRBO agent, during access attempts was difficult. The owner hung up while a question was being asked and returned nearly 40 minutes later offering no apology. There was clear confusion regarding additional fees. While the issue was later resolved, this left a bad impression.Property: generally matched the photos. Cleanliness was acceptable but could use attention to details (unclean cookware). Basic hospitality items were missing, including paper towels, dish/dishwasher soap, and ironing board. Walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers beware. Booking: identified host and services fees, but amenity fees were not clearly explained when the property was booked but when check-in was done via the on-line portal process. This should be more clearly outlined in the property and/or pricing details.Positives: free parking and walkable access to restaurants and shops. Great view overlooking the city. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the view due to constant noise from motorcycle traffic in town for an event. Overall, due to access delays, communication issues, and lack of basic starter hospitality items, this would not be a repeat stay for me. First in over 10 years of using VRBO.
