The Space:

This spacious, family-friendly condo offers a furnished balcony with spectacular views, a well-equipped kitchen updated with stainless steel appliances, and modern essentials including central air-conditioning and WiFi. Additional updates include new shower doors. Guests will enjoy access to a number of on-site amenities including two pools, a well-equipped fitness center, a cabana bar, and easy access to the adjacent, white-sand beach.



Enjoy people watching and fantastic fishing from the Russell-Fields Pier, or indulge in a little retail therapy at Pier Park, both just a short walk from this rental. For family fun, race around the track or play a few rounds of mini-golf at Hidden Lagoon Super Race Track and Golf, play on the waterslides at Shipwreck Island Waterpark, or check out the fascinating exhibits at WonderWorks Panama City Beach, all within eight miles of this vacation rental.

This property is the perfect location in Panama! Walk right out to the beach/ocean or walk to eat or tour! Only thing is the bunk beds are hard and almost unsleepable. My 13 year old chose the couch because they were so thin Other than that it was perfect! Toilet wasn’t working when we arrived and someone called almost immediately to fix it!

We had a really nice stay. We appreciated the sand toys in the closet. The only thing that we noticed is our feet turning black after walking barefoot on the floor. Overall it was good and we would return.

Condo was very nice had to notify maintenence to fix balcony handle very pleasant. Would love to see a ramp to the beach, we had to pack our wagon down the stairs. Parking garage hood bumper should be raised up some our truck bumped it everytime we came in and out the garage height was ok. The bed in master room was a little warn out, springs not good, we sunk to the middle when we got in it and it squeeked everytime we moved. Overall stay was great. We managed to have a great time.

Great location

This condo is exactly as pictured. It is in a great location. You can walk to Pier Park. It was very clean. We enjoyed the pool and the beach is just beautiful. The only negative I could say would be that the bed in the main bedroom needs to be replaced as well as the balcony furniture. Other than that, it was great!

Great location

The property is in a great location & it was clean. The property could use some maintenance. The ceiling fan makes noise & the toilet off the bedroom runs constantly. We had to cut a hand towel as there were no washcloths provided but, other than that it’s a nice place.😃

Location was great and condo clean. Had to purchase a 50 queen air mattress for the pullout couch, the mattress is horrible! The king bed was not much better sagging in the middle. Both twins needed foam pads, as well. These were also observations in other reviews and they were accurate! Take extra blankets and I would suggest your own pillow. Sliding door handle inside was hanging broken so I had to spend 30 minutes upon arrival to report it so I wasn’t charged for “damage”! It was obvious this had been broken a while with wear on the door frame!

Vacasa has horrible customer service

Calypso property was great. 2nd time that I have stayed with VRBO that Vacasa was the property manager. I won't stay again. There is no local host and no one in 4 different phone calls could answer the building location issue. This time took over an hour to get checked in. The first time I stayed with Vacasa, I was locked out with three children, groceries ruining, for almost 4 hours.

Overall was fine for our trip, however here are a few things we did not like so travelers can keep in mind: Difficulty getting TV working and TV in bedroom had only 2-3 channels No extra blankets/bedding. Comforter was extremely thin- I had to find an extra sheet from another bed to add to make it warm enough. Bunk beds literally had a single sheet, so if you have kids, bring sleeping bag/comforter. Dishes were left in dishwasher and pan had eggs still stuck to it- we had to go buy a kitchen sponge to scrub off the remaining food. Toilet in front bathroom didn’t work the whole time and plunger was left to dry on the balcony by either housekeeping or previous visitors. Condo smelled like stale smoke when we arrived- the booking agency did offer to have housekeeping come clean again. Things we loved: Proximity to the beach and restaurants/things to do. Pool was very nice. Overall we had a good trip :)

Not Good.

Well first off we were told no one was in the room, and that we could come down. Get there and the code doesn’t work. On the phone for over hr at 2 in the morning which is a great time! 2nd the A/C went out for 2days! I called and sent a text finally. Local person Vasca got with me 2 and got the issue fixed. 3rd the back door it took 2 grown men to open. It. I text about that and never heard a word. This is the worst condo I have ever stayed in At the Calypso. It needs an update very very badly! The carpet stinks, the toliot wouldn’t flush in the master bath, nor would the tub drain! For the money stay at a different unit unti alll the isssues are fixed.
