Vacasa has neglected this unit. MBR bath shower door hinge loose, ice maker not working properly, 2nd BR bath exhaust fan not working, towel hooks loose from walls, curtains do not cover balcony door, MBR door or LR window and do not open or close well. Also, dinnerware is missing (only 3 butter knives, 4 teaspoons and missing steak knives. However, view is spectacular from 10th floor.

Great girls trip stay

The condo was clean and modern, loved the giant balcony and view. Everything is on the boardwalk, you don’t need to drive anywhere. The beach access is easy. Will stay here again!

Great location & amazing view!

We had a great time staying here with a small group of friends! I would highly recommend this unit. It was beautiful inside and the view outside on the huge deck was amazing! Watching the boats come through the harbor was so cool and the view to Crab Island was awesome! No complaints! Also, we went during one of the hottest times of the ysar and the AC in the condo was great, never felt uncomfortable!

Destin birthday

The property was great other than a few minor things. A curtain was dropping down from one of the windows, a foot rest was broken on one of the barstools, and a lot of the bathroom fixtures were loose. The views from the condo were fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. I would highly recommend this condo.

Nice unit with great views…

Unit had great views, nice accomidations. The only downfalls were being able to only set the thermostat to 70, it would not cool the unit down very well on our 90+ degree days. Also, the unit next to us were smoking and the smell would somehow come thru the HVAC system and we could smell it every time they were lighting up.

When we arrived, the cleaning of the unit had not been done. I was able to contact the property manager about this and fortunately, the cleaning was done in a very timely manner. My cleaning fee was refunded. I loved the unit and would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Lovely condo w/ fantastic view of the harbor & Harborwalk Village

We liked Emerald Grand and our condo very much. Being part of Harborwalk Village was very convenient for everything, notably restaurants. The online info about Emerald Grande was somewhat confusing, as was our first impression of the layout for parking and the building itself. It was VERY easy to get lost. All that could definitely be improved with better info. This particular condo had a perfect setting, but it was not very well-situated regarding kitchen things and furnishings. The condo accommodates 8 people and there were only 3 deck chairs, albeit they were comfortable. There were no side tables or ottomans in the living room. There were only a few mismatched beverage glasses provided, and only 1 roll of paper towels (of very poor quality, and no Kleenexes in the bathrooms at all). It would take very little effort or expense to provide a much better set up for your guests. All that being said, the pros outweighed the cons, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Being on the Board Walk is great

Being on the Boardwalk is great, tons to do, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, however we were on the Street side, Route 98 and it was extremely busy & noisy all night long. Coyote Ugly next door is open until 4am and the drunk crowds let you know it! Then the property gets busy at 5am with contractors, emptying dumpsters, it was ridiculous! We were on Floor 2 and the trash smell in the hallways is gross! We actually complained that a sewage smell was coming from one of the kids bedrooms in the shower pipe! I finally got a return phone call the next day and they really didn't know what to say and offered to move us but we already got downgraded once due to homeowners in the condo we originally booked (which was water side) & paid, changed their mind and Vacasa let them do it and moved us to the street side with a lowsy ($100)refund. Won't be using Vacasa again.

Nice views

When you walk into Emerald Grande you are greeted by the front desk ladies who are so sweet and knowledgeable. After getting our room keys we headed to the room and our excitement quickly turned disgust. As soon as we opened the door a terrible musty smell filled the entire room. We decided to keep the patio doors open for a while to air it out hoping it would get better… no change. We tried spraying perfume to cover. No help. My daughter found an empty medicine bottle in the room that we stayed in- not a huge deal but then wondered how clean the room was. We got in late so I messaged Vacasa at midnight about the issue and didn’t hear back until mid day on the second day of our trip. Room still smells and it won’t budge. Vacasa emailed and said they would let their maintenance team know. I made sandwiches for my family and a small black bug scurried across the kitchen counter. I ended up calling Vacasa after not hearing anything and they said they would have someone call me to set up a time to come to the room. That evening we decided to take matters in our own hands and bought car air freshners and clipped them on a fan that was in the room as well as sprayed other room freshners. On the 3rd day of our trip Emerald Grande called after 12pm and said the maintenance man was there asking what time we could meet. We were in Okaloosa island and I asked if 2:30 would work and that didn’t work for him. Our trip was 3 nights and 4 days so I told them to forget about it.
