Island Echos 6BC



The Space:

you'll love to stay in this beautiful sixth floor Gulf Front Unit which has a private balcony overlooking the white sand beaches and breathtaking emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. This condo has a well-equipped kitchen for those nights you decide to stay in, versus partaking in one of the many nearby local dining establishments. This condo features a king bed in the primary bedroom along with a walk in shower with hand rails, a queen in a guest bedroom, as well as two twins in the third bedroom. This condo also boasts a washer/dryer and TVs with DVD players in each room. While staying you will also have access to all that Island Echos has to offer and this will soon become your home away from home.



Things to Know

Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Mini Family Vacation

Family and I was looking for a nice inexpensive place on the beach for a weekend getaway. Saw this place online and fell in love. Everything was perfect from the size of the rooms to the balcony view. We definitely will be renting this place again...SOON!

Great space and perfect time

I got the condo for my mom (75), sister (56), and myself (46) and it was perfect. There was enough room for us to hang out together or not and great beach view. We really liked the colors and how it was decorated. Property managers responded instantly to any questions we had. I will def look for this place again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Island Echos 6BC. The condo was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing stay. There was a great amount of space for everyone to watch a movie or eat together in the living/dining room area, as well as, plenty of individual space in the bedrooms & adjoining bathrooms. We are definitely looking forward to next year....if we can wait that long! 😀

Outdated but beautiful view

Many many things were broken upon arrival. I messaged the company and they said people would be out to fix said things but no one ever showed up and I never heard anything else. It is very very very outdated and not as clean as I would like. However, the view and the huge deck were both amazing. It is a very spacious condo as well.

On site staff

After checking in and getting our door code, we went to the beach. The code didn't work, but it was after 5pm, it took an hour and a half to get someone to get a new code. That is not good. There needs to be a better way to reach a staff worker.

Good condo

We got there at 3:54 and had to wait until 4:00 exactly before the code would work. When we walked in it was fairly clean. It was a quite place but the lady that worked there was constantly harassing people at the pool about their drinks and the pool was never cleaned the 6 days we were there. There’s very few chairs and if you tried to move a chair she was telling you that wasn’t allowed! She was the only one that would say anything and when she did it was very rude! The beach access and umbrella setup was easy and just like any other condo. The balcony was very spacious and nice. The condo itself was great but I don’t know that we would stay here again bc of the experience.

Overall a nice condo with a fantastic view of the Gulf

The rental process was very easy through VRBO. The renter charges many extra fees yet, does not supply essential items normally associated with renting a condo. For example, dishwasher detergent, shampoo and conditioner, and trash bags for the kitchen garbage. The manager did make an effort to rectify the situation but it was after two phone calls and a day later. In the mean time we had already gone out and purchased the items listed above. The condo itself could use updating but, overall it was very spacious. Lastly, some maintenance has been neglected. I would still recommend this unit, but just be prepared to bring more things along or purchase things that you would normally find in a rental condo.

Disappointed

We were disappointed with this property due to the problems from aging and overuse. The living room furniture was stained. We had to hold the handle down to flush the master toilet. The sliding door in the master was so hard to open we rarely used it. The dryer took numerous cycles to dry even small loads. These were just some of the major issues we encountered. Overall we were extremely disappointed since the condition of this unit does not justify the cost of this unit. We take one major vacation once a year and this was it, and if I could get a refund I would feel justified in doing so.

Nasty beach attendant

Beach attendant was very nasty towards us. Instead of just explaining the rules he went on to berate and cuss at us even though I apologized profusely. The email reservation was not specific and just stated the rental came with two chairs and an umbrella but that was not the case. We were not aware you could only use the chairs out and not get one out of the box. He also went on to tell his not to touch his s or he would report us stealing. I was humiliated and not to mention he was cussingand yelling with children in our group. All I could do was apologize profusely hoping to diffuse the situation to no avail and was told what we brought down is what we f get. I will not be back to that location because that was enough to ruin a beach day.

Great Location! Room could use some updates!

We enjoy this location. The beach is great and area isn't busy. We did have a couple issues and concerns: Upon arrival the dishwasher did not work. I reported it and a maintenance guy came out the next day and said it didn't work. Never heard anything else about it until our last night and another guy came out and said it didn't work. We really didn't want to hand wash dishes all week, but it was all we could do. The toaster is broken on the left side and doesn't pop-up. The kitchen is very small. Two people fill it up when your trying to cook. Also, one of the bath/showers is so high that it's not safe to step over without fear of slipping and falling. It is the only bath option in the condo. Also, some of the AC vents were molding and needs to be clean. They are doing construction and have both outside stairwells blocked. One day they started making noise at 7am. The stairs being closed are a safety concern too. We had a fire alarm while we were there and this condo is at the very end next to the closed stairwell. We had to walk to the center to the stairs which would be an issue if the fire was between this condo and the center stairs. This room come with 2 chairs and an umbrella. We had rain off and on during our week. There were a couple days that our chairs weren't put out or only for a couple hours, but the neighboring condos had theirs out. So, people staying here had to use towels or not sit. They do ask that you keep your air on 72 which is warm for us.

Since your stay, the dishwasher has been repaired, the toaster has been replaced and all the AC vents have been cleaned. We are so sorry for any inconvenience that the emergency construction caused.
