We love Splash and have stayed at many condos at this resort. We loved that this unit was on the 5th floor, we had no issues with elevators and we had the stairs as an option. Since we book at Splash because we have young kids, my review is mainly based off of that. We booked this specific condo for the bunk bed option in the second room, however the ladder for the bunk beds (seen in the photos) was not there or found anywhere. That was problematic as our kids are still younger and climbing up solo was not an option. Other issues were the ice maker hardly made ice, we had to buy some. There are holes in the walls where towel hangers/bars and hooks used to be, but there is currently no place to hang any towels; again, problematic for a beach trip. There were a few spots of dark mildew/mold, and lots of dust in many areas. Having access to the washer and dryer is great, but the washer wouldn’t turn on, and the dryer had to be turned on for multiple 50 minute sessions to only partially dry anything. So, the bottom line is, we had a great time at Splash, and the lower floor of this unit was great! We understand rentals can take a beating from tenants, but there are some updates that could be done to this specific unit to make it really great.
