The Space:

This ground floor condominium has a contemporary decor and is tiled throughout. The unit has convenient access to the beach boardwalk from the back patio facing the Gulf. The living room offers a fantastic leather queen sofa sleeper, an ottoman that opens up into a twin sleeper, a cozy beige chair, an oversized leather chair, and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player. There is a dining table that seats four with additional bar stools for ample seating, The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a flatscreen TV. The hall bunks are built-in and feature a top safety rail, perfect for the kids! There is one full bathroom with a shower/tub combo as well as a Jack-and-Jill half-bathroom. The kitchen features terrific cookware, granite countertops, and full-size stainless steel appliances, with all the cookware you need to prepare a delicious meal. You'll enjoy the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer as well. When you're not on the beach, you can listen to your favorite music on the CD sound system for premium relaxation.

Beautiful and convenient

Stayed a short 3 days in this condo and its was lovely. Clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed! Right on the beach so very convenient. Loved the Scenic Highway 98 which was right along the beach. Lots of great restaurants. Will come again with the grandkids!!

Will book again

This condo didn't disappoint. Super clean and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfy, and being able to step out and go straight to the beach was amazing. Only downfall was 5 days in to our 10 day stay we lost internet connection and never regained it. Will definitely book this condo again.

Very well decorated and high quality furniture! Very clean and plenty of bath and bed linens... Comfortable King size bed ! Nice comfortable patio furniture ! Beautiful location and scenery! These owners have gone the extra mile to make this stay feel like home ! We have been coming to Destin the past 12 years... we have a favorite beach house and motel but this has been the best condo !!! We plan and hope to use again! Best of all, the check in office is on the premises... no driving all over town looking for it - that was a big plus * And free movies provided all week - Yay!

Beautiful Ocean front property

We loved staying at this property, especially because it was ocean front and so easy with kids. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The only negative was no broom to sweep up sand that is carried in. There was a vacuum cleaner so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience but I would have preferred a broom. Also wish they would have had more than 2 dish washing cubes since we stayed 5 days. Overall I would book again and recommend to others! Great location!

Awesome location

This is our second year to spend the days before thanksgiving at Crystal Sands. We like first floor units for easy beach access. This unit is right by the steps to the sand. Couldn’t be any closer. Very clean condo. My only complaint would be that we rented the unit based on the pictures showing two chairs in the living area (in addition to the sofa) and there was only one chair. Made seating a little more challenging for a family of 5...but we spent most of the time on the beach so not a big issue. We will definitely come again.

Great location but managing could be better

First the location is great but for the amount of money we pay to stay here the managing of this property could be better. 1. The listing doesn't tell you they don't provide towels. I had to ask for extra and was still not given any face towels. Towels I was given were fuzzy leaving lint everywhere and were short barely wrapping around my body. Check in - have to wait to 4 which is crazy considering they make you check out so they know when the last person is out. Let people check in early its vacation Beach service is only from 9 to 5pm which the listing doesn't communicate. When we were there the beach service was so eager to end we barely got to enjoy. They closed down at the first sight of rain. It stopped raining 20 minutes later. The other private beaches still had chairs we didn't.

Lots of brown

We have been staying at Crystal Sands for 15 years. We have stayed in several units in both complexes. We always stay in a 1st floor unit, as we are a family of 4 and our children are young. All the units have the same floor plan and have always been clean. I love that there's a washer/dryer in eachieving unit. This particular unit has brown everything, walls, kitchen, furniture, even the ceilings are a light tan. It is dark and drab. ALL the furniture is brown leather or faux leather, the dining chairs, bar stools, couch and chair and the bedroom, it is not what is shown in the pictures. It is dark brown oversized with brown faux leather inserts on the head board of the bed and the drawers of the, very oversized for the space, dresser and nightstands. It is not beachy at all. There are only a couple of beach things in the condo at all. The kotchen is nice and if it were all that was brown in the condo iy would be fine, but it is just over loaded with brown. The other colors used are, red and black. I prefer lighter brighter colors and a beachy feel when I'm on vacation at the beach. I was disappointed with this unit for that reason. This condo had some dusty walls and the ceiling fans need to be cleaned, otherwise it was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. It is just not what I like in a beach condo.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!

I have stayed that Crystal Sands several times but this was my first time in this unit working with Vacasa. The unit was dirty. I wish I could post pictures. There was lipstick on the cups. There was not a basket in the dishwasher so we had to hand wash all utensils. We requested a basket for the dishwasher but we just received a sorry for the inconvenience response. WIFI never worked the entire stay. We reached out day 1 and everyday after that for about 4-5 days (after that we figured they would not be helping) and all they would say is sorry. Yes we tried the whole unplug and plug back in method and it didn't work. We were there for 7 days. There were 5 of us and not enough towels. I contacted them to request more and they stated they didn't provide towels and when I said all of the towels match and are sets. There were bath, hand, and wash cloths they said they would look into it. Two days later they hung a bag on my doorknob with more towels. There was a roach that ran across the floor. Upon cleaning the floor we found dead roaches. So unless you want to clean top To bottom while you are on vacation, have no wifi (our phones did not work without it), hand wash your eating utensils and have bad property management service then I would steer clear from this property.
