The Space:

Small families, a group of couples, or several close friends will love this Gulf Highlands condo, featuring easy beach access, perks like a shared pool, and fantastic views from the private balcony.



The condo is a short walk from the beach, as well as dining at the Sassy Bass Grill and the Kiva Grill. Fort Morgan is nine miles to the west, featuring its own beaches to explore alongside historic fortifications and boardwalks. The nearby Mobile Bay Ferry offers quick access to Dauphin Island. Shops, restaurants, and bars await in Gulf Shores 15 miles east.



Things to know:

Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Wonderful place to relax !

The best was all the property was clean. The worst for a beach trip was no washer and dryer in the condo as shown in the pictures!

Pleasantly Surprised

We really had no expectations about the property or the beach. We were trying something new for us and we were pleasantly surprised about the property, the amenities and the wonderful beach. Our family really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to doing it again!

Love the Plantation

We have been coming here for 15 years. It’s on the beach, has 7 pools, is very family oriented and close to Gulf Shores. That said, I’m not impressed with new management company as the unit was not as clean as previous visits and staff did not really want to assist when our keys wouldn’t work.

Great condo, great price.

The condo was nice, had everything we needed. The building is older but the condo was clean and updated. Partial gulf view from balcony, close to pool. Only one elevator in center of building so we had to use the stairs a lot, but its on 2nd floor. The location in Fort Morgan is about a 20 min drive to Gulf Shores, there is a Sassy Bass Grill and Tacky Jacks close by, but if you like shopping or eating out it's a little farther. Overall, great condo with a great price, a little more secluded so not as crowded, would definetly stay again!

Ft. Morgan Plantation East

Location to beach and restaurants is great. Also very quiet in October. Furnture and beds were fine. Toilets could have been cleaner. However, Vacasa provided only 1 kitchen towel, no liquid vanity nor bath soap, no coffee, no salt/pepper. Also our door lock (coded) quit working 18 hours after arriving and we could not lock our door to leave. I spent over an hour of my vacation time on the phone seeking help. I prefer not to book with Vacasa in the future.

Great place!

Really great place. Clean, spacious, with ocean view and quick access to the beach and pools. Had everything we needed for cooking. We had a great time! Just a couple minor things to know: 1. We spent some time looking for the mentioned amenity keys, and after not finding them, we called in to ask. It turns out the amenity keys are only needed for the indoor pool areas, which are currently closed for construction. No keys are needed for the outdoor pools or beach access. This was fine, just would've saved us time figuring this out when we arrived. 2. Both my mom and I could've sworn we saw pictures of a stackable washer and dryer, which would imply the washer and dryer is in the unit. It is not, but there is a laundry room next door that takes credit cards. Again, completely acceptable, just would've been good to know.

Beach was pleasant but trash receptacles overflowing both days we went.

Property was cramped and the parking lots and drives damaged with potholes. Towel service did not have towels both times I went to drop off. Times inconvenient only 9-3.They did not offer to deliver or drop off. Dryer in condo did not dry. Indoor pool and hot tub had mold and mildew, hot tub was "gross". Kids used brown blankets in closet and complained of bites 2 mornings in a row. Appear to be bed bug bites. We checked out early Wednesday morning and I would appreciate a refund of some amount please. I will not stay here again or recommend to family and friends.
