The Space:

Generously upgraded throughout, this comfortable condo in The Lighthouse Resort will quickly become your favorite escape in Gulf Shores. This two-bedroom (plus a bunk room) condo features wonderful Gulf-front views to greet you each morning, a private balcony where you can listen to the sounds of the waves, and resort amenities that include a private stretch of white sand beach, two hot tubs, two zero-entry outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, and a gym with a sauna.



What's nearby:

Whether you're searching for poolside relaxation or fun family excursions in Gulf Shores, you're sure to find it in and around The Lighthouse Resort. This beachfront property sits just over half a mile east of Highway 59, which is home to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, among other attractions. Beautiful Gulf State Park is half a mile east, and Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other restaurants and shops are within an easy walk. Spend your days golfing at the Craft Farms Golf Club (five miles north) or the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club (seven miles west), and your evenings dining at such local favorites as Picnic Beach, The Royal Oyster, and LuLu's.

Great family vacation

Was just as advertised. We loved the balcony, pools and close proximity to the ocean. The restaurant and shops were so close and a lot of fun with the rainy weather we had. The beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer were necessary and appreciated.

Perfect spot!

We had such an amazing time! The condo was clean, homey and comfortable! The highlight was sitting on the balcony and watching all the dolphins in the ocean! Perfect front row seat to enjoy all the wonders of God’s beautiful work!!

Gulf Shores Getaway!

My family and I stayed in Lighthouse 614 during our recent stay for spring break and we absolutely loved it. The condo is just as pictured with all the amenities needed to suit my family. The check in prices was a breeze and the staff was overall extremely warm and welcoming. The condo was clean and although there’s a bit of construction going on right now it did not interfere with our overall experience.

Fantastic beachfront condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully updated condo. Everything was just described in the pictures and descriptions. We had a minor issue with the freezer that the property manager quickly addressed. Overall, highly recommend this property, would definitely stay here again with my family!

Beautiful Condo and Great Stay

Condo was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The best condo I’ve stayed in thus far. Will book again in the near future. I texted the property owner twice to ask a question and to report a minor issue with cleaning but never received a response.

Tell people about the construction

The stay was great. Easy access to everything. Friendly at check in. Only issue was the construction. Very loud from 8-4. We were not in the room much, but with younger kids trying to take naps made things a bit difficult. Overall great experience, will come back

Great and Relaxing

This was a great condo! The location is fantastic and within walking distance to great restaurants and the views are incredible. The condo had a well stocked kitchen. We had no problem cooking up meals. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating. A few board games were there to use, but no beach items. We had brought our own so that was fine but it’s always nice to know if traveling with kids. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo and view - bathrooms need a little work

We returned home from our vacation this evening and were very happy with our stay in the Gulf Shores. The condo was very nice and maintained well in almost all areas. However, the master bathroom really needs a good cleaning and maybe some items should be replaced. The toilet seat was stained pretty bad and should be replaced and there was black gunk around the outside base of the shower. Other than that, the condo pictures matched exactly to the real thing. The location is great and within walking distance to many trails, restaurants, activities, etc. If the bathroom was updated, I would stay here again.

Disappointed

Upon arrival, not marked clearly where to check in. When we got to the room, one sink was backed up, housekeeping put full-size sheets on a king-size bed. We arrived on a Saturday, and did not any contact with anyone until Monday. I have yet to get a phone call returned. I’m less than impressed with the outfit called VACASA. No one to talk to, no one on site could do anything because “we had to contact VACASA” Very poorly managed property. Then Construction started. At the height of the season. Noise, tar smell, closing down the pools. How untimely can you be. And this was cosmetic stuff, non- emergency. My first impression of a VACASA managed property is way less than desirable. I doubt if I will stay in another VACASA managed property. Obviously I won’t be recommending this property.

Disgusting….

I wish I could add pictures…. When we first arrived the place did not smell clean at all. There was hair in the towels. One towel had brown stains. The shower……. I have never been so disgusted in my life while taking a shower. I was so nauseated after every shower. These condos are cleaned constantly for the next guest so there is zero reason there should be a build up of black mold and soap scum all in the shower. That tells me the level of cleaning that is done here. One good scrub and it would be gone but this is built up and obviously not cleaned properly. I texted the number that was in contact with me about check in to report this. Zero help. Every morning we would all wake up with horrible headaches. We went and stayed at a different property and no headache the next morning. So something in this property is not right. I’m sure the lack of cleaning is the main reason. I have always used VRBO while staying at the beach. I did not realize this listing was thru an agency and not the owner directly so I will avoid this agency from now on as their level of cleanliness does not line up with what I think it should be.
