Located directly on the white sands of Gulf Shores, this Gulf-front condo in The Lighthouse Resort will give you a beach vacation you'll be thinking about for years to come. Bring your breakfast out to the private balcony each morning, grab a swimsuit from the in-home washer/dryer, and spend your days swimming in the resort's outdoor and indoor pools, relaxing in the hot tubs or sauna, working out in the gym, or simply lounging on 635 feet of private beach.



What's nearby:

The Lighthouse Resort is located right on the sand near the heart of Gulf Shores, just over half a mile east of Highway 59. Within walking distance are Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other shops, restaurants, and nightlife hot spots. Take a morning stroll or cast your fishing line in Gulf State Park half a mile east, or head just up Highway 59 to Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. The Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north, the Gulf Shores Sports Complex is one mile beyond, and Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, and The Flora-Bama are all within a quick drive.

Condo was clean and perfect for our short trip. Very family friendly. The beach front was a bit of a cluster though with all of the rental chairs and umbrellas that took up most of the beach front. Does not leave enough room for guests to set up personal chairs for access to a comfortable day without everyone being on top of each other.

Property was very nice! The twin int the tiny bedroom was a tight fit for my 14 year old, as I thought it was in the second bedroom. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!!

Great location, beautiful beach access

The condo was right on the beach, which was wonderful for our family. The condo itself was very outdated with many broken fixtures and pieces in the room (curtains, shower curtains, door hinges, bedspreads).

Great place for a family vacation!

I really love the Lighthouse. The location is great and there is always available parking, covered if you like. This is our 3rd time staying there and it has always been an excellent experience overall. This room had beautiful views and was pleasant to stay in. There was occasionally a wait for the elevator, but not too bad. The indoor pool seemed to have too much chlorine this time, but the hot tubs and outdoor pools are excellent for all ages. I highly recommend!

Second bad experience with Vacassa Won't use them again Marie at the Gulf Shores office promised to refund one night's stay ($140) Never saw it so we disputed it thru our cc company

Great location, beautiful condo!

We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this unit to anyone. It is on the 17th floor so the views are gorgeous. The unit was clean, close to elevator but not noisy. Loved that it utilizes a keypad and not keycards. It is very close to great restaurants and shops. The Hangout is a must see and we loved LuLu's! The unit did have a broken blender but there was another one in the pantry. The microwave over the stove did not work but there is another one on the counter. My only criticism is the small trundle room. The beds are not big enough for teenagers and only one person can stand in the room at a time. It might work better to have bunk beds in there.

Beautiful View!

Very nice view! There are however some things that need attention in this condo. The couch cushions are worn out and it feels like you are sitting inside the couch instead of on cushions, so we didn't use it. The lounge chair on the balcony had 2 broken slats, so we weren't able to use it safely. The vent in the master bath didn't work. There is a slight leak coming from under the hot water knob on the kitchen sink. Some of the items in the kitchen need to be replaced due to being worn out. This condo does need lots of TLC throughout the whole place. Other then the items I listed above we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our view from this condo. We will rent it again especially if the condo gets TLC throughout.

Not clean or updated

The good - great building/pools/beach and elevators are not crazy busy. We could always catch an elevator right away. Bad- upon arrival our unit was not clean. There was sand in all the beds as well as someone’s dirty socks. The master bed has a giant diaper cover on it that crunches when you sit on it. After seeing the pee stained mattresses, we assumed this is why it’s in there. When I pulled out an extra blanket from the closet, it was also filthy with spills all over it. The furniture is so uncomfortable and old, with stains all over it. There’s black mold coming out of all of the vents in the unit. If anyone is planning on sleeping on the pullout couch, be prepared to wake up when the sun comes up because there’s no curtains in the room to block any light. Overall would not recommend this unit. Try another one in the building.
