Welcome to the Gathering Place: Where love and adventure meet! You'll find our home to be a perfect destination for your group’s exploration and/or relaxation. The Gathering Place is perfectly situated between enough one-in-a-lifetime landscapes to occupy you for a lifetime. Kanab, Utah is “The Heart of the Parks” and rightly so; Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Lake Powell, The Grand Canyon, and countless other world-class destinations will all be within 90 minutes of your front door.

Featuring two king bed and two queen bed bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps families and adventure groups. Guests enjoy 3 3/4bathrooms, each equipped with a shower or bathtub for a relaxing experience. The house stays cool with air conditioning and cozy with heating, making it perfect year-round. This fantastic home offers plenty of space to unwind after a day of adventure. Experience what Kanab has to offer with a stay at our well stocked and comfortable home.

We moved to Kanab in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the beauty and small-town charm. We’re a family of six with four kids, along with a few fun animals—two sugar gliders, a dog, and some goats and chickens.

We love being surrounded by incredible landscapes and having the ability to head out our back door for a hike. Matt is an architect who values thoughtful, intentional and beautiful design, and Rae is a Licensed Massage Therapist who brings a focus on movement, relaxation, longevity and intentional living.

We truly enjoy hosting and love helping guests experience the magic of southern Utah while providing a comfortable, peaceful place to stay.
