Vacation beneath the palms and sparkling desert skies at this three-bedroom home near downtown Palm Springs, recently updated and tastefully decorated with all new furnishings. Step through the sliding glass doors each morning to take a refreshing dip in the private swimming pool, rest your tired muscles in the attached spillover spa, and ready yourself for a beautiful day of golfing, shopping, and sightseeing. Come home in the afternoons to light the gas grill, dine in the midst of mature palms and fruit trees, and watch the lights of the Palm Springs Aerial Tram climb the slopes of Mt. San Jacinto.

WHAT'S NEARBY
This home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in central Palm Springs, a mile and a half east of the heart of downtown. Palm Canyon Drive, the main village thoroughfare that's lined with renowned restaurants, boutiques, theaters, art galleries, and various forms of nightlife, is within walking or biking distance, as are the tennis courts at Ruth Hardy Park, the Palm Springs Convention Center, and the Agua Caliente Spa and Casino. If you're looking for a glorious view of the desert, be sure to take a ride up the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway yourself, just eight miles west.

THINGS TO KNOW
-Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
-The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.
•Pool and Spa heating can be purchased for an extra fee per day. Pricing can vary, depending on the size of the pool and spa; it can take up to 48 hours to heat. Please reach out prior to arrival if you are interested in adding this amenity.

We had a great time in Palm Springs and spent a lot of time by the pool. The villa was great and the location was ideal. We will not hesitate to stay here again for another stay in Palm Springs.

2nd Time Stay

This was our second time staying in this home. We love the pool and the peaceful backyard! It’s just perfect to relax and get away from the noise. Guest services were super helpful and responsive. We forgot a couple of items and they were so helpful in locating them and shipping them back to us. Top notch customer service and we hope to return next summer as well. Home away from home with a pool

This house is the ultimate getaway . Just buy some groceries and the rest is here. Relax by the pool or enjoy the area , theres so much to do. The house was clean upon arrival the host was reponsive in everything we needed or any question we needed answered .

Home away from home

Great curb appeal on a quiet cul-de-sac in a great location with easy access to everything you would want to do in Palm Springs from the airport to the town center. In turns the old saying that there’s no place like home on its head because there is - here. Great pool too!!

Excellent place.

We had a great time. Very clean, everything you need exists . 2 middle-age couples from Orange County just going to enjoy the warm weather and the sun and the pool. Only downside is the pool was cold and they want to charge 75 bucks a day to heat it. Otherwise perfect!

Will return!!!

Finding a venue for two teenagers to agree is a massive headache. Fortunately, our kids like Palm Springs as long as there is enough space and a pool. This house delivered. Ample room to come together and have privacy. Old.we school neighborhood has big trees. The grocery store is a mile away, get a sandwich at The Real Italian Deli just a couple blocks away. Downtown is 5 minutes. Taqhuitz creek is a great value for golf, 10 minutes away. Definitely will return

A Relaxing Desert Retreat

We enjoyed 5 days of R&R. The house was comfortable and well appointed though it could use a little sprucing up particularly the sofa could use some reupholstery and some of the pots and pans were a bit scruffy and should be replaced. We loved the backyard especially our 4 legged kid and the pool and jacuzzi were very enjoyable. All in all it was a great experience.

Great Summer Getaway

Our family of four (daughters age 5 and 12) had a great summer getaway! The home was just as pictured and described in the listing. The kitchen was well equipped and met our needs for our stay. Check in process was easy. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool and were so pleased to not have any mosquito issues at the home. The beds were comfortable although the mattress in the master was very creaky with any movement. The only con was the water pressure in the shower was terribly low. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet and super close to the grocery store, we were stocked up after checking in. We definitely would love to stay again in the future!

Overall Nice House - Great Back Yard

We stayed at Orchid Tree Villa for 7 weeks in February and and March. Great location. Convenient to downtown and other activities. The backyard was wonderful. Nice pool and spa. Cleaned twice a week. Nice tables and chairs. The kitchen is well stocked. Could use a few more dishes. The bedrooms are good. Nice family room. Furniture is starting to age. During our stay we had several issues which were resolved by Vacasa in a reasonable amount of time. Unit could use some TLC to maintain it. Overall a very good experience for a reasonable cost.

Lovely home …poorly managed

The house itself and the location were highlights…Vacasa excessively charged ($450.00)for heating the pool then didn’t and didn’t respond to several requests for fixing. Vacasa communicates with robotic AI responses and their” local service team” is nice folks who happen to live in South America (they informed us of this) The house is great and the homeowner deserves more responsive management.

Beautiful private backyard

Very private back back yard, we loved the pool and jacuzzi! We spend a majority of our time in the back yard. Beds were not comfortable, way to hard (unless you prefer super firm). Might be time to invest in better mattresses or a mattress pad. Pillows not great but there is a ton in the closet to choose from. We didn't realize that until we bought new ones. Overall the house is well stocked with seasonings and seems to have everything you need to cook. It's close to the airport but planes take off a different direction so it's not bad with it being loud. Overall we would definitely stay again, just wish beds were more comfortable.

Comfortable and good location

The house was laid out well. Plenty of necessities, cooking utensils, extra towels and quiet neighborhood. There were some issues in after making the reservation. Difficult in the beginning to get a hold of someone to assist with some issues. The carpet really needs cleaning. No one told us that the water and ice dispenser didn’t work and no directions for operating the spa or TV. The backyard is lovely and the pool with the exception that the palm trees are blooming and the pool was filled with debris. They need an automated pool cleaner to keep the bottom of the pool clean. However, Juan a local employee for the property management company came over and assisted us with the TV and spa use. Also two microwaves with one not working and the other doesn’t work easily. With all of that said, we would stay again if some repairs were done.
