- The bunk beds are best suited for children because of weight limitations
- This property offers a step-free entrance via a ramp on the side of the home, and there is a bathroom and a bedroom on the 1st floor. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor and require stairs
- For an optional fee of $75, guests can use the community private boat launch adjacent to the property. The fee should be collected at least 24 hours prior to check in so that guests can gain access to the boat launch gate key. Please reach out to the owner if you are interested in using the boat launch
- Your safety matters. This property features 4 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is located on the back of the house and faces the yard, camera 2 is located on the front of the house and faces the parking area, camera 3 is located on the shed and faces the house and driveway, and camera 4 is a video doorbell camera located by the front entrance facing out. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras actively record video when motion is detected by the devices or when the video doorbell button is pressed

The house was beautifully decorated, modern and clean. The lot was so nice and peaceful. It felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. The kayaks, canoes and paddle board were great additions too! We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

Our son and his wife joined us. We had a great time and especially enjoyed kayaking. We also went to restaurants around the lake and in Louisa. We highly recommend Obrigado in Louisa. The cottage was the perfect place to relax and bird watch!

Great week at Lake Anna

We really enjoyed the home and amenities. Having a ground floor bedroom was helpful with a disabled son. We had a great time kayaking, canoeing, corn hole, soccer and time at the fire pit. The home seems newly renovated and in great shape. We would stay here again.

What a beautiful property. The home was so well kept and provided everything we needed. Extremely clean. Loved both bathrooms and the kitchen accommodations met all our needs. The home overall was one of the nicest we have rented in our time of renting homes. Howard was a great host and made sure communication lines were open during our stay.

Great location!

Home was very neat and clean. Big sloping lot to the water that the dogs loved. Quiet lot at end of cul-de-sac. Caught big cat fish from the dock. Nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Will definitely go back!

Wonderful location and amenities

We stayed four nights and had plenty to do and see. The house was clean and well furnished. We loved the shed full of boating options and corn hole. We went kayaking 3 times a day! Blue herons everywhere, blue skinks, turtles owls, we felt emerged in nature. Century farmers market and the other local fun spots were great for a low key outing. Down load a few favs before you go as the area has WiFi challenges. The dock was sturdy and the kids loved fishing! (Poles in the shed— they thought of just about everything!) I would stay there again.

Relaxin at Lake Anna

The house was very clean and everything in it is brand new including the kitchen utensils. The view of the lake is so calming. Plenty of yard space for any kind of games. A little windy to use the fire pit but that would have been the cherry on top! Would rent this house again.

Perfect Getaway

This home was the perfect backdrop for a little fall getaway. The home was clean and offered so many accommodations. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked and updated kitchen. The kids loved playing with the puzzles and board games offered. The view off the back deck was beautiful watching the sunrise each morning. Not to me mention it was wonderful finding a dog-friendly property! We look forward to planning another trip here in the warmer months, as well.

Beautiful home right on the Lake

The home was gorgeous and we loved our long weekend there. The house has 2 kayaks, a stand up paddle board, and a canoe. It also has cornhole boards. We had a fire every night and enjoyed the sun down on the dock. The thing we loved most was the bluetooth speakers provided, we used them everyday. Would definitely go back again.

OUTSTANDING!

This was the perfect size house for my husband and I for a long weekend getaway. The house sits on a very quiet cove and it was so peaceful! It was also completely updated - no complaints/concerns about one single thing! Soft sheets and towels were a very pleasant surprise (not always the case with rentals). We cannot wait to go back with our Golden Retriever to let her enjoy the water (we did not bring her on this trip since she is only 19 weeks). We have rented MANY homes around the lake over the years, and this one is BY FAR our favorite!

This is a great property. The house is exactly as described. The house is small but well layed out and not cramped. Easy access into the house with a very short ramp onto the deck. A couple of kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle board were available in the garage. Fairly secluded with one neighbor who we hardly saw. Would definitely stay here again. The house is not near as far from the dock as it appears in the photos. It is far enough that you might not want to watch kids play in the water while you sit on the deck. And in that case, grab a chair from the firepit and drag it over by the dock. But as far as access to the water, it's not a problem. Fishing was good too.

Great stay

Everything was great about this place except for the trash situation. There is no trash service so you are expected to take all of your trash with you when you leave. So yes, the 8 of us fit comfortably in the house but made about 12 bags of trash over the course of our stay. So we sat those bags outside over the span of our visit and packed them all in my Explorer as we left this morning to bring home. Definitely not something I’ve ever done when staying somewhere….bring home my trash.

Cozy Getaway

This rental was perfect for us being that it was only three of us going. It was great to have just enough space vs. a ginormous amount of space that we would not use. The rental was nice and clean upon arrival, including the beds. We took our boat, so the boat ramp key was worth the price, and the boat ramp is literally right next door so it was very convenient. Sitting around the fire pit at night was one of our favorite highlights and the available fire wood was a very nice touch. I would recommend you bring your streaming platform sign in credentials, otherwise, you are dependent on the Samsung free TV programming which is a bit limited. Overall, it was a lovely trip and I would definitely stay at this rental again.

This house is tucked away in a quiet corner of the lake. The house was clean, had a well stocked kitchen and had a great layout. Our 3 year old loved the bunk beds in the upstairs room! We brought our boat along and were pleased to find the dock well bumpered and the perfect size. It was also a great dock to fish from and we even caught some large mouth bass! The property has a great view of the water, and is very private as there are woods on one side and the neighbor on the other sides home sits back farther than this house. The back porch under the awning was a perfect way to relax while cooking dinner on the grill and the fire pit was great for campfires and roasting marshmallows. The house is about a 15 minute drive from a major grocery store, gas station, and the boardwalk. We loved it here so much we are already talking about coming back next year!
