Experience Asheville history at the meticulously restored historic Apple Cider House just 10 minutes to Asheville. Built in 1938 by the Stokely family (canning company) and local historian Wilma Dykeman, it originally was used to store apples and produce apple cider. This property has a genuine, award-winning heritage and is sure to provide an experience you won`t forget!

Apple Cider House is an amazing place. It’s immaculately clean, comfortable with very nice amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful views and wildlife from the deck. We saw a bear walking! We stayed there with 2 other couples who are friends from college and had a great time! Would definitely go back when we have a big group.

Great vacation spot!!

Beautiful home, gorgeous view, quiet neighborhood, conveniently close to down. My family loved the firepit, and we even had a stack of firewood waiting for us! Would definitely stay here again!

A House with History

The history of the Apple Cider House was very interesting, enhanced by pictures, furnishings, and the information provided by the management office during our stay. The location was in a peaceful setting but just a few miles from town. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck listening to the creek and waking up to see and hear turkeys each morning. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed and the pool table provided extra entertainment. We had a great vacation.
