Fyn is rightly called Denmark's Garden; it is also H.C. Andersen's birth island. The H.C. Andersen Museum in Odense describes his life and work in detail and is definitely worth a visit. Also visit the Funen Village or the Danish Railway Museum. Fyn is also ideally located for a trip to Copenhagen. After less than two hours by car you can stroll in the longest pedestrian zone in the Nordic region.
