This beautifully updated condo features brand new furnishings, appliances, tropical décor, and split-zone AC (installed 2023) to keep you cool and comfortable after a day in the sun. New luxury vinyl plank flooring (2024) adds a fresh, modern feel to the living and bedroom areas.
Wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the lava rocks and enjoy palm tree and Kailua Bay views from the comfort of your king bed. Step onto your private lanai to watch sunsets, seasonal parades, and local festivities along iconic Ali'i Drive.
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need, whether you're preparing a full meal or enjoying Kona coffee on the lanai. Extras like a blender, coffee grinder, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels make island adventures easy.

I had a great stay at this rental. The location was perfect, great for walking to local eats and shopping, and driving to most locations was pretty easy as well. The unit was clean and comfortable. I had great communication with the property management when an issued arose. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and clean place.

The place was kept clean and had a nice pool for the family to enjoy. Parking was excellent at this place as well as the view from our balcony. Close to lots of great restaurants and it’s near the farmers market. We really enjoyed our stay and would be glad to come back!

It was a good location easy access to everything.

Loved all the extras like beach chairs,ice chest Tupperware for lunches for the beach, towels etc. Its was very convenient.

Great condo, great location

Everything about our stay was great. The condo had everything we needed, it was very clean (except the carpet, which is stained), the breeze was wonderful, the location was super. It was walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Covered parking was a bonus. Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent little tropical get-away

Exactly as posted, this property holds everything necessary to enjoy a tropical get-away. The balcony with view and sound of the ocean is spectacular. Only downside is the noise level at night.

Straightforward condo with a great location

We spent 2 weeks here and it had everything we needed/expected. The outdoor space was great and the kitchen was stocked with all equipment we needed to cook most meals. We didn't have a car, so the location was great for walking anywhere in the Kailua area, including beaches, and we could also grab a bus a block or two away on Alii Dr. Also handy was the beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards available.

Great location

We love the location of this condo right on Alii Dr! Right in the middle of everything. You can walk to shopping, restaurants, beaches, and entertainment. You can hear the ocean all night long and see it off the balcony. Comfortable living space and the kids enjoyed the nice pool. We would definitely return.

The condo met our needs for this trip. It was rather noisy due to area. Homeless people were entertaining. Enjoyed the lanai in the morning with coffee, being outside and comfortable weather.

1st trip to Hawaii

Trip to escape winter weather and that goal was definitely achieved. Temperature was ideal along with breeze from the ocean. Enjoyed constant sound of the ocean waves coming in. A little noisy at night off and on with cars speeding down street in front of condo along with their loud music. Fortunately, this was not constant. Condo had everything we needed to head to the beach. Felt very safe here.

Awesome location

The Kona Alii is a very nice place to stay. Unit 609 has amazing views of the ocean. You have everything you need at this unit. If you want to eat in, there’s a full size kitchen, if not, there’s lots of restaurants around where you’re staying. The pool is really nice and there’s an elevator and security doors, so super safe! I highly recommend Kona Alii and stay at unit 609, it’s the perfect Hawaiian unit.

A great view from the side of the building to the beach

It was nice having my own parking space since most of Kona’s parking lots are charging fees now. I loved the location and was able to walk to restaurants and the market for fruit. But I must say the unit really really needs some tender, loving care.

Home away from Home

This home is in a prime location and is definitely a home away from home. It had everything we could ever need which made our vacation at ease. Very clean and maintained well. I loved having two bathrooms and the washer & dryer was a big plus. The balcony was our happy place in the early morning and late evening to sit, relax and take in the sound of the ocean waves. I would definitely recommend this home and hoping to come back some day.

Kona Alii 609

This was a wonderful property. We were in Kona for diving, This was in the perfect location. We were only about 10 minutes from the harbor. The mall is right next to the building, so we could walk out the front door, and go coffee or dining. The only thing I can say negative, would be the living room needs one more panel of drapes. Thank you we loved our stay.

Nice place

We liked the unit. It had some slight issues buy nothing that caused any real problems. Great location, just a bit loud at night due to activities outside such as volleyball games and bars.

Great location Walk to Everything

Super convenient Amazing property manager ... Thx Abby ! Ideal location allowing for an easy walk to many eateries Building well managed and clean common areas Loved that it had a washer/dryer View of the ocean is better than pictures show Being in the "heart" of it all, there is some background noise from nearby restaurants and bars but if you close the windows and doors at bedtime, you're fine. The ceilings fans keep the place adequately cool for sleeping.

My cousin and niece joined me for first week of my vacation, and I let them have the bed. I took the fold out couch. After they left, I didn’t move from the couch! 19 nights. It was that comfortable. A nice surprise, for sure! Very well stocked, including beach stuff Seven beach towels, leave yours at home. Some beach stuff could be replaced, but you’d get by. The security in this building is excellent. Didn’t bother me at all to be here two weeks alone. The only thing I bring up is living room drapes. They don’t cover all the windows and night light from other side of building was a bit annoying (to me). Loved my stay here and would love to return. Communication with realty co was great.
